Between two and five civilians, including a woman and up to three children, were injured in alleged Russian airstrikes between the town of Armanaz and the city of Kafr Takharim on January 3, 2022.

According to the Syrian Civil Defense, a woman and her child were injured when Russian warplanes bombed two poultry farms on the outskirts of Kafr Takharim. The strikes also resulted in destruction of the farms and the death of a large number of animals inside of them. White Helmet volunteers took the injured to the hospital.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that Russian forces executed three airstrikes on the poultry farm, which resulted in the injury of a family of five, including children.

@ZaitunAgency provided the toll of three children injured in the airstrikes and images posted by @anasanas84 at least three different children receiving treatment for their injuries. Al Araby added that their injuries were varying degrees of severity.

Al Araby News reported that the farmhouse that was hit by the airstrikes housed IDPs and is located on the road between the town of Armanaz and the city of Kafr Takharim near the Turkish-Syrian border.

All of the sources that reported on the incident attributed the strikes to Russia and @OrientNews identified explosive missiles as being used in the attack.
