Shortly before midnight on Saturday, October 21, 2023, a civilian man was injured after a wall of his house collapsed due to an airstrike allegedly perpetrated by the Russian military in the Al Shekh Sindian village in the western countryside of Idlib, Syria.

The Syrian Civil Defense reported on the incident at 12:16 AM on Sunday, October 22, writing that the SDC teams took the man to the hospital for treatment at midnight. So the strike must have happened shortly before midnight on Saturday. According to the Syrian Civil Defense, the civilian had minor injuries and bruises. A photo of the person, a man with a beard, wearing a black shirt and lying in a stretcher while being attended by a civil defense member was also shared by SCD.

Where sources identified the belligerent, all sources attributed the strike to the Russian military.
