Multiple sources blamed Russia for the event, though several referred only to “warplanes”.

The local time of the incident is unknown.

Reports of the incident mention the village of Maarat al Arteek (معارة الارتيق), for which the generic coordinates are: 36.247681, 37.053483. Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to verify the location further.
