Airwars assessment
Seven civilians including up to four children died in an alleged Russian airstrike on the city of Mahdoum, according to local media.
The majority of sources reported the deaths of children and women.
According to Aleppo24, “4 children and 3 women were killed and others injured in an air raid thought to be Russian that targeted the old police building and the school in al Mahdoum Manbij countryside”.
Flash Network tweeted that the air raid “targeted the old police building in al Mahdoum”, while according to Qasioun News the raid “targeted a school inhabited by displaced people”.
Both Halab News and Aleppo24 blamed Russia while the other sources did not identify the responsible party.
The local time of the incident is unknown.

Reports of the incident mention the town of Mahdum (المهدوم), for which the generic coordinates are: 36.1012669, 37.8789711. Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to verify the location further.
