On Monday, September 11th 2023, an alleged drone strike by SDF military patrols hit civilians in the town of Abu Hamam, east of Deir Ezzor, west Syria, injuring two civilians, a man and a child.

Sources including Al Araby, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, and @alkhabour21 twitter account accounted for two civilians being injured in the attack, with SOHR reporting a statement from the Syrian Observatory of Human Rights identifying them as a man and a child.

Al Araby and twitter accounts @HamamIssa7 and @alkhabour21, reported that the attack took place in the town of Abu Hamam, east of Deir Ezzor as a result of the bombing of a drone that hit a civilian car near the bank of the Euphrates River. The suspected attackers are alleged to be SDF military patrol, as reported by most of the sources including Alaraby and twitter accounts @Sharqya_reporte and @nahermedia, although responsibility has not been accepted explicitly.
