Local media reported that between five and eight civilians died and up to 24 more were wounded in alleged Turkish airstrikes on Bab Al Kheir village.
Aawsat said: “Five civilians were killed in a Turkish raid on a village in northeastern Syria, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. Observatory director Rami Abdel Rahman told AFP that civilians were killed in a raid on the village of Bab al-Khair, about 10 km east of the border town of Ras al-Ain, where sporadic clashes were taking place. He said 20 other civilians were wounded”.
According to NPA, “Co-Chairman of the Health Authority in al-Jazira region” said that there had been “8 deaths and 24 injuries, as a result of the Turkish aerial bombardment on the village of Bab al-Khair and its vicinity”.
@HesenHoseng added that “five SDF fighters” died.
The local time of the incident is unknown.

Reports of the incident mention the village of Bab Al Kheir (باب الخير), allegedly 10km east of Ras Al Ayn (رأس العين). Resources available show the closest Bab Al Kheir approximately 40km east of the city, for which the generic coordinates are: 36.836218, 40.500412. Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to verify the location further.
