On Thursday, July 18, 2024, a 38-year-old Kurdish man was injured in the vicinity of Afrin Hospital in Afrin, north of Aleppo, Syria, in an alleged drone strike reportedly conducted by the Turkish military. The Syrian Observatory For Human Rights reported that the strike hit the road linking Barkhdan camp and Afrin Hospital and injured a displaced person from Afrin.
The name of the injured 38-year-old Kurdish citizen was Hurk Hussein Hurk (according to ANF News) or Hussein Horik Hussein (according to Fox Press).
Where sources identified the belligerent, all sources attributed the strike to the Turkish military. All of the sources referred to the attack as being carried out by a “suicide drone.”
