Initial reports indicated that four civilians were injured, but it was later confirmed that a girl named Farah al-Barho, an 11-year-old with long, straight brown hair, died. Her three siblings were also reportedly injured and taken for treatment to the al-Furat Hospital in the city of Manbij. In multiple photos shared by the sources, she was lying on a stretcher, dressed in a red sweater and covered by a gray blanket, with her face blurred.

A video showing him walking down a hospital corridor, visibly distressed from the pain of his shoulder, was posted too. According to a post on the Hawar News Facebook account, Abdul Rahman’s condition stabilized after spending a full day in intensive care, and he was expected to be discharged on the morning of October 26, 2024.

As for material damage, the children’s home was completely destroyed in the attack. Several media outlets shared images of the site, showing the debris derived from the attack. Among the photos were remnants of the explosive device, a destroyed bicycle, and an image of the children’s father standing amid the ruins.
