During the afternoon of Tuesday, October 29th, 2024, a civilian was killed as a result of being run over by a military vehicle allegedly belonging to members of the Turkish military. The incident took place as the man was returning to his home in the village of Kafr Janna, in the Aleppo Governorate of Syria.

Hamid Muhammad Hamdoush, 47 years old, suffered a brain haemorrhage on Tuesday afternoon and, as a result, passed away in the National Hospital in Azaz on Wednesday evening.

ANF and Hawar News attached a photo of Hamdoush smiling in a rural background. He was a middle-aged man with dark hair and a mustache dressed in a tan-black sweater, a black jacket and jeans.

Hamdoush’s injuries were sustained because he was run over by a military vehicle that was speeding in his village. Following the incident, Hamdoush was transferred to the National Hospital, however, the following day, he succumbed to his injuries.

ANF and Hawar News identified the belligerent as the Turkish military based on the fact that the vehicle is thought to belong to the Turkish-affiliated militia.
