Airwars assessment
At least one woman was injured after alleged YPG, PYD and/or SDF artillery strikes on the city of Azaz, Aleppo governorate, on October 27th 2019, according to local sources.
@SyrianCoalition reported that one woman was injured by the artillery strikes. According to STEP Agency, the rocket-propelled grenades came from “Kurdish units stationed at Meng Airport and Ain Dokna City”. They reported “civilian casualties”, but did not clarify numbers.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that “one citizen and child” were wounded and that the attacks came from Kurdish militants stationed in Marnaz. Yeni Safak wrote that the militants were stationed in Tel Rifaat area.
The incident occured in the evening.

Reports of the incident mention the city of Azaz (اعزاز), for which the generic coordinates are: 36.585559, 37.051789. Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to verify the location further.
