Your support matters

June 29, 2026 (Last updated: June 30, 2026)

Welcome to our incredible community of supporters! Many of you have backed Airwars for years as funders, as advisers and as allies. Others have just arrived.

All of you are making a vital contribution.

Here we gather updates on progress to show why your choice to support civilians in conflict matters. Particularly now.

Please invite others who share our vision and values to join. And thank you again for all that you do.

» Kickstart innovative action research projects tackling developing threats around the world, with Queens University Belfast, Kings College London and UC Berkeley.

How can I help

Thinking about supporting Airwars?

Whether you’re moved to help name and remember all those who die in a conflict, or you want to provide evidence to push action action, or you believe accountability failings must be repaired.

Your donation can directly support immediate response and future progress.

Impact reports

We make sense of who is being harmed and how in conflict zones around the world. This evidence is vital for disrupting the deadly power imbalance between those waging war and those caught in the crossfire.

This includes keeping you updated regularly through formal and informal reporting, and you can also manage the frequency of wider newsletter and social media communications to suit you.
We hold special events to gather supporters together to find out more about responses to evolving conflicts as well as development of new tools and partnerships.
You can contact us at any time if you have specific questions about your donation and our work.
Can I make a donation to a specific area of work?
Yes, if you have a specific interest we would be very happy to discuss targeted support which is restricted to that area or theme.
In general, supporters choose to provide unrestricted support as this allows us to pivot quickly to new conflicts as they erupt (often rapidly and sometimes unexpectedly), fast-track responsive experimentation with partners and new approaches, and foster powerful alliances across our field, including at times when other donors have turned away.
Please get in touch to discuss your interest in our work community@airwars.org.

You can find information about our Board, governance and reporting in our About section. If you want any further information, including about our donations policy and due diligence checks for private donors, please get in touch community@airwars.org.
How can I leave a gift to Airwars in my will?
This is an increasingly popular way of giving which allows you to pledge now to provide support for civilians in conflict for generations to come beyond your lifetime. You can leave money, property or a percentage of your estate to Airwars. We always recommend you seek independent legal advice to ensure your wishes are accurately expressed in your will.
By informing us that you have left a gift in your will, you will be welcomed as a life-time donor.
If you want to speak to someone about leaving a gift in your will to Airwars, please contact us community@airwars.org.
