The Amal Movement held a funeral procession for the martyrs of the Shhour massacre. The martyrs, who fell victim to the treacherous attack on the town, were: the wounded martyr Ali Fadlallah Dheeb, the paramedic martyr Mohammad Qassem Laqis, the commander martyr Hassan Ali Mohammad, the martyr Ali Nour El-Din Sharaf El-Din, and the martyr Hussein Abdel-Ali Assaf. Participating in the preparation and funeral procession for the martyrs in Tyre were MP Ali Khreis, the Amal Movement's organizational official for the Jabal Amel region Ali Ismail, members of the regional leadership Sheikh Rabih Qubaisi, Qassem Haidar, and Alwan Sharaf El-Din, Sheikh Mohammad Bazzi, the head of the Tyre Medical Department Dr. Wissam Ghazal, and paramedics from the Al-Risala Health Ambulance Association. The martyrs were killed in the treacherous attack on the town. The funeral procession set off from the city of Tyre towards the town of Wardaniyeh, where Sheikh Muhammad Bazzi led the prayers over the pure bodies, with the participation of the martyrs' families, the Commissioner General of the Islamic Message Scouts Association, Qassem Obeid, members of the Jabal Amel Regional Command, Farid Shaaban, Muhammad Sabra, and Dr. Qassem Zein, the head of the Third District, Khalil Zein, and a number of district members and participants. Afterwards, the martyrs were laid to rest.

The massive turnout today was a profound tragedy in the south, akin to a massacre in the southern town of Shahour. Citizen Hussein Assaf was wounded and later martyred. Paramedic Ali Dib arrived to perform his humanitarian duty towards Assaf, only to be struck by a second enemy raid that wounded several civilians and paramedics. Paramedics Hassan Muhammad and Muhammad al-Laqis then arrived and rescued Ali Dib, who was in critical condition. Before they could reach the nearest hospital, they were targeted by the enemy's treachery on the main road in the town of Maaroub. The magnitude of this crime cannot be classified as a military operation or a military objective; rather, it reflects the enemy's bankruptcy in the face of the reality in the south and the disappointment they are experiencing. We complain to God about our plight, for there is no international community, no internal government, and no human rights. Everyone is just watching us. MD

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful {And the martyrs are with their Lord; for them is their reward and their light.} God Almighty has spoken the truth. *With immense pride and honor, the Amal Movement* announces to its leader, His Eminence Imam Sayyid Musa al-Sadr, and its faithful followers, the martyrdom of the wounded fighter, Ali Fadlallah Dheeb, who was martyred in the town of Shahour on June 3, 2026. The Amal Movement pledges to the martyr and its followers that it will remain true to the covenant and oath to the founding leader and to the martyrs, that it will be ready to sacrifice itself for the borders of our sacred land, no matter how great the sacrifices. And we hope for God's victory and the return of the Imam and his companions.

From the heart of our suffering, you rose up, bearing the pain of the people. Not because the path was easy, but because the land deserved to have its call heeded... You carried it in your memory as prayer is carried in the heart... And you saw in its soil the faces of fathers, the footsteps of mothers, and the laughter of children that deserved to remain safe beneath its sky. You loved the land with a love immeasurable in words, a love that made weariness a familiar companion, sleeplessness a habit, and waiting a test of patience. You gave it your time, which could have been your rest; your lives, which could have been the joy of life; and your efforts, which could have been saved for personal dreams... But you chose for the dream to be greater than the individual, wider than desire, and more enduring than life itself. The more intense the pain, the more deeply you clung to your roots. The fiercer the winds, the more certain you became that a tree can only survive if it is firmly planted in the earth. You did not seek glory for yourselves, but rather the dignity of the place that gave you your name, your identity, and your memory. Therefore, you gave your all, not in anticipation of praise, nor in pursuit of gain, but in fulfillment of a covenant that dwells within your souls. When self-interest clashed with duty, you chose duty. And when weariness called for you to stop, you pressed on. And when the distance between pain and hope narrowed, you forged a bridge of patience for generations to cross. Altruism was your unspoken language; you put others before yourselves, shouldered some of their burdens, and believed that a person's worth lies in what they give, not in what they take. Therefore, your hearts remained attached to the earth as the clouds are attached to the sky, as prayers are attached to the hope of being answered. If some people express their love with words, you expressed yours with actions. If some prove their belonging with slogans, you proved it with dedication, work, and sacrifice. Even when giving reached its limit and sacrifice its zenith, you accepted God's will with tranquil hearts, believing that those who give their lives in defense of truth, dignity, and the land they love never fade away. Their legacy remains present in the memory of the place and the hearts of its people. From the depths of pain, you rose, giving pain a different meaning, sacrifice a light, and loyalty to the land a story to be told—not of people who passed through here, but of souls who chose to keep their roots firmly planted in the soil and their impact enduring through time. *من القلبِ ...إلى شهداء الدفاع المدني - الرسالة - مركز الشهيد حسن نمر عيسى التطوعي - شحور* شغاف القلبِ وحبّة العين من قلب الوجع نهضتم ، تحملون راية الإيثار والتضحية خفّاقة من قلب المعاناة انتفضتم تختزنون وجع الناس . لا لأنّ الطريقَ كان سهلاً، بل لأنّ الأرضَ كانت تستحق أن يُصغى إلى ندائها ... حملتموها في الذاكرة كما تُحمل الصلاة في القلب ... ورأيتم في ترابها وجوه الآباء، وخطوات الأمهات، وضحكات الأطفال التي تستحق أن تبقى آمنة تحت سمائها. أحببتم الأرض حباً لا يُقاس بالكلمات، حبّاً جعل من التعب رفيقاً مألوفاً، ومن السهر عادةً، ومن الانتظار امتحاناً للصبر. منحتموها من أوقاتكم ما كان يمكن أن يكون راحة لكم، ومن أعماركم ما كان يمكن أن يكون ملذة حياة ومن جهودكم ما كان يمكن أن يُدَّخر لأحلامٍ شخصية... لكنكم آثرتم أن يكون الحلم أكبر من الفرد، وأوسع من الرغبة، وأبقى من العمر. كنتم كلما اشتد الوجع ازددتم تمسكاً بالجذور، وكلما عصفت الريح ازددتم يقيناً بأن الشجرة لا تنجو إلا إذا تعمّقت في الأرض. لم تبحثوا عن المجد لأنفسكم، بل عن كرامة المكان الذي منحكم الاسم والهوية والذاكرة. ولذلك بذلتم الغالي والنفيس، لا انتظاراً لثناء، ولا طلباً لمكسب، بل وفاءً لعهدٍ يسكن الأرواح. وحين تعارضت المصلحة مع الواجب، اخترتم الواجب. وحين دعاكم التعب إلى التوقف ، مضيتم وحين ضاقت المسافات بين الألم والأمل، صنعتم من صبركم جسراً تعبر عليه الأجيال لقد كان الإيثار لغتكم الخفية ، تقدّمون الآخرين على أنفسكم، وتحملون عنهم بعض أعبائهم، وتؤمنون أن قيمة الإنسان في ما يمنحه لا في ما يأخذه لذلك بقيت قلوبكم معلّقة بالأرض كما يتعلق الغيم بالسماء، وكما يتعلق الدعاء برجاء الإجابة. وإذا كان لبعض الناس أن يكتبوا حبهم بالكلمات، فقد كتبتم حبكم بالمواقف ، وإذا كان لبعضهم أن يثبتوا انتماءهم بالشعارات، فقد أثبتموه بالبذل والعمل والتضحية حتى إذا بلغ العطاء منتهاه، وبلغت التضحية ذروتها، استقبلتم قدر الله بقلوبٍ مطمئنة، مؤمنين أن من يهب حياته دفاعاً عن الحق والكرامة والأرض التي أحبها، لا يغيب أثره، بل يبقى حاضراً في ذاكرة المكان ووجدان الناس. من قلب الوجع نهضتم، فصار للوجع معنى مختلف، وصارت التضحية نوراً، وصار الوفاء للأرض قصةً تُروى، لا عن أناسٍ مرّوا من هنا بل عن أرواحٍ اختارت أن تبقى جذورها ممتدة في التراب وأثرها ممتداً في الزمن . لم ولن تغيبوا وستظلّ ذكراكم خالدة وأعمالكم مذخورة وجهودكم محفورة دائماً وأبداً . *رئيس بلدية شحور* محمد الخليل

Mohammad Al-Laqis… He carried no weapon but his humanity, and he was in the field only to save the lives of the wounded. But the hand of treachery reached him while he was performing his most sacred duty. He ascended to martyrdom on the path of giving, racing against time to transport the injured and aid the afflicted. He was among those who gave their lives so that others might live. Rest in peace, Mohammad, for you have written with your blood the highest meaning of sacrifice. Your image remains that of a courageous medic who never retreated in the face of danger, nor hesitated to answer the call of duty. Martyr of humanity and duty, Mohammad Al-Laqis, you have departed in body, but your noble legacy remains, recounted by the battlefields and by the words of those you saved.

Two paramedics killed and one critically wounded in Shhour The Ministry of Public Health's Emergency Operations Center issued a statement announcing that the Israeli enemy directly targeted an ambulance belonging to the Al-Risala Association, resulting in the martyrdom of two paramedics and critically wounding a third, who required immediate surgery. This inhumane and barbaric approach adopted by the Israeli enemy is a disgrace, demonstrating contempt for international humanitarian law, which emphasizes the protection of healthcare workers. The Ministry appeals to international organizations and all those with a conscience to raise their voices to put an end to this systematic violation. All praise to the heroic paramedics who move between towns and areas under attack, stripped of any means of defense except their sense of duty to rescue and their sacrifices, including the blood they shed, in fulfillment of their humanitarian mission.

You who ascended to martyrdom while performing your paramedic duty, you were in the field where life is preserved and the highest meaning of sacrifice is written. My brother, though not born of my mother, my elder brother, forgive me if I fell short in my duty to you, my brother, you who departed in body but remain alive in our hearts, never to be forgotten. How can I eulogize you? How can I mourn you? Should I mourn a heart that always anticipated pain? Or should I console myself? Or should I console Haj Muhammad or Haj Abdullah, or Abu Ali, or Nabil Abu Sajed, or Ali Youssef, your nephew and friend, or Hussein, or Mustafa, or Rajih? You departed as a martyr alongside Hassan, your friend, comrade, and brother, and with you were Muhammad al-Laqis and Ibrahim al-Zein Abu Khalil, as you were tending to others. My brother, your departure was both painful and honorable, befitting a man who lived as a soldier defending the homeland and was martyred as a medic resisting for the sake of the people of the town, from a family as steadfast as the cedar mountains. My brother, we ask God to envelop you in His vast mercy, to place your deeds on the scale of good works, and to grant us, your family, and your children patience in your absence. To God we belong, and to Him we shall return.

علي ذيب شهيدًا في أمان الله يا أبو ليلى. إنها شيبة الأبطال يا علي. يا من ارتقيت شهيدًا أثناء أداء واجبك الإسعافي، فكنت في الميدان حيث تُصان الحياة وتُكتب أسمى معاني التضحية. يا أخي الذي لم تلده أمي، يا أخي الأكبر، سامحني إذا كنتُ مقصرًا معك يا أخي، يا من رحلتَ جسدًا وبقيتَ في القلوب حيًّا لا يغيب. كيف لي أن أرثيك؟ وكيف لي أن أنعيك؟ أأرثي قلبًا كان يسبق الألم إلى الألم؟ أم أواسي نفسي بنفسي؟ أم أواسي الحاج محمد أو الحاج عبد الله، أو أبو علي، أو نبيل أبو ساجد، أو علي يوسف ابن أخيك وصديقك، أو حسين، أو مصطفى، أو راجح؟ رحلتَ شهيدًا إلى جانب حسان، صديقك ورفيقك وأخيك، ومعكم محمد اللقيس، وابراهيم الزين ابو خليل ،وأنتم تُسعفون الآخرين، يا أخي، فكان رحيلك موجعًا ومشرّفًا في آنٍ واحد، يليق برجلٍ عاش عسكريًا مدافعًا عن الوطن، واستُشهد مسعفًا مقاومًا من أجل أبناء البلدة، من بيتٍ صامدٍ مثل جبال الأرز. يا أخي، نسأل الله أن يتغمّدك بواسع رحمته، وأن يجعل ما قدّمت في ميزان حسناتك، وأن يُلهمنا الصبر، ولعائلتك وأولادك جميل الصبر على فراقك. إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون.
