(CNN) -- One person was injured in Kuwait after debris fell from interceptions following an Iranian missile and drone attack targeting the Gulf state, according to a statement from the Kuwaiti military.
The Kuwaiti military said in a statement Thursday that its armed forces detected "three ballistic missiles, a cruise missile, and 10 hostile drones within Kuwaiti airspace early Thursday morning. These were successfully intercepted and dealt with."

وقال الجيش الكويتي، في بيان الخميس، إن القوات المسلحة رصدت، فجر الخميس، "3 صواريخ باليستية، وصاروخ كروز، و10 طائرات مسيّرة معادية داخل المجال الجوي الكويتي، وقد تم اعتراضها والتعامل معها بنجاح".

وفي البحرين، قالت القيادة العامة لقوة دفاع البحرين إن منظومات الدفاع الجوي في المملكة اعترضت ودمرت عدداً من الهجمات الجوية الإيرانية.
وأضافت، في منشور عبر منصة "إكس"، تويتر سابقاً، أن إيران "تواصل نهجها العدائي الممنهج عبر اعتداءاتها الآثمة بالصواريخ والطائرات المسيّرة التي تستهدف المدنيين في مملكة البحرين"، مشددة على أن "الاستخدام المتعمد للصواريخ والطائرات المسيّرة في استهداف المدنيين والممتلكات الخاصة يُعد انتهاكاً صارخاً للقانون الدولي الإنساني".
وكان الحرس الثوري الإيراني قد أعلن، في وقت سابق، بحسب ما أورده التلفزيون الرسمي الإيراني، استهداف قواعد عسكرية أمريكية في الكويت والبحرين، رداً على أحدث موجة من الضربات الأمريكية.
