Martyr Amjad Jahjouh was known for his gentle nature, good origins, and good relationships with his colleagues at the agency and with all fellow journalists. He was also renowned for his high professionalism. He produced hundreds of written and photographed journalistic stories during his journalistic work with Palestine Now Agency, where he was close to people's concerns, empathized with their suffering, and was able to convey their voices. As the agency mourns the passing of our dear brother and esteemed colleague, Amjad Jahjouh, we extend our sincere condolences to his family, relatives, colleagues, loved ones, and all who knew him, as well as to the Palestinian press corps, which has lost a courageous patriotic journalist in his passing. We ask God Almighty to accept him into the gardens of bliss and to inspire his family with patience, solace, and good consolation. 06 يوليو 2024 . الساعة 10:55 ص بتوقيت القدس ارتقى إلى العلا الزميل الصحفي الشهيد -بإذن الله تعالى- أمجد جحجوح أحد أعمدة وكالة "فلسطين الآن" جراء القصف الإسرائيلي على مخيم النصيرات، وسط قطاع غزة. وعُرف عن الزميل الشهيد أمجد جحجوح دماثة أخلاقه وطيب منبته وأصله، وعلاقاته الطيبة مع زملائه في الوكالة، ومع الزملاء الصحفيين كافة، إضافة إلى أنه من المشهود لهم بمهنيته العالية. وأنتج الزميل الشهيد مئات القصص الصحفية المكتوبة والمصورة، خلال عمله الصحفي مع وكالة "فلسطين الآن"، حيث كان قريبا من هموم الناس ويشعر بمعاناتهم وقادر على إيصال صوتهم. وإذ تنعى الوكالة إلى الرفيق الأعلى الأخ العزيز والزميل الفاضل أمجد جحجوح، لتتقدم إلى عائلته وذويه وزملائه ومحبيه وإلى كل من عرفه، وإلى الجسم الصحفي الفلسطيني الذي خسر بغيابه صحفيا وطنيا جسورا، بخالص آيات التعازي والمواساة، سائلين المولى عز وجل أن يتقبله في جنات النعيم، وأن يلهم ذويه الصبر والسلوان وحسن العزاء. ولا نقول إلا ما يرضى ربنا "إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون"، ولا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله العلي العظيم.
