The statement added, “The occupation forces betrayed the people and disguised themselves under the cover of aid that civilians desperately need as they suffer from critical levels of food insecurity.”
The Red Crescent stressed that this act “endangers the safety of aid workers.” Red Crescent spokeswoman Nibal Farsakh told AFP that such a precedent casts doubt on the safety of aid workers in the future.

Today, the United Nations expressed its "deep shock" at the number of civilian deaths in the Israeli operation in Nuseirat.
UN Human Rights Office spokesperson Jeremy Laurence told reporters in Geneva that “the manner in which the operation was carried out in such a densely populated area raises serious questions about the Israeli forces’ adherence to the principles of distinction, proportionality, and precaution under the laws of war.”

قالت جمعية الهلال الأحمر الفلسطيني، الاثنين، إن قوات إسرائيلية استخدمت شاحنة مساعدات للتسلّل إلى مخيم النصيرات بوسط قطاع غزة خلال عملية استعادة أربعة أسرى إسرائيليين في نهاية الأسبوع.

وأضاف البيان “قامت قوات الاحتلال بغدر الناس والتنكر بغطاء المساعدات التي يتوق لها المدنيون في ظل معاناتهم من مستويات خطيرة من انعدام الأمن الغذائي”.
