The martyred child, Tawfiq, has joined all his brothers, the martyr Walid, and his sisters, Maram and Shireen. He was the last of his children. God is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.

“I was washing clothes at home, and everything seemed normal, until suddenly, without warning, the sound of gunfire and explosions shattered the peace. Immediately, Al-Assar rushed to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital only to find that two of his daughters had been killed, and all the survivors, including his youngest, who was seven months old, were injured. Expressing his astonishment, he asked, "I am a civilian with no connection to military matters. Why was our house bombed? My daughters sustained injuries ranging from moderate to critical, while two of them were killed, and my wife is in extremely critical condition." The grieving father pleads with the world to "stop the Israeli war on Gaza and halt the bloodshed." Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging war on Gaza, resulting in over 121,000 Palestinian casualties, mostly children and women, and nearly 10,000 missing, amidst widespread destruction and famine that has claimed the lives of children and the elderly. "كنت أغسل الملابس في البيت بينما الوضع كان أقرب للطبيعي، حتى بدد فجأة وبدون سابق إنذار صوت إطلاق النار والانفجارات الهدوء، وامتلأ المكان بالغبار من كثافة القصف الإسرائيلي، ولم تمر بضع ثوانٍ إلا وأنا تحت الركام"، هكذا وصفت السيدة الفلسطينية ريم العصار أحداث مجزرة مخيم النصيرات التي ارتكبها الجيش الإسرائيلي وسط قطاع غزة، السبت الماضي. ورغم مرور عدة أيام على الواقعة، إلا أن السيدة الفلسطينية لا تزال تجهل خبر مقتل اثنتين من بناتها الستة. وقالت العصار التي ترقد في مستشفى شهداء الأقصى بمدينة دير البلح وسط القطاع لتلقي العلاج، بعد إصابتها بجروح خطيرة في رأسها وأنحاء مختلفة من جسدها: "رغم أننا كنا نتواجد في المنزل، لكن ما حدث كأنه نقلنا لوسط معركة ضارية ومحتدمة". والسبت، قتل 274 فلسطينيا بينهم 64 طفلا و57 امرأة وأصيب مئات المدنيين، في مجزرة ارتكبتها القوات الإسرائيلية بعد قصف مدفعي وجوي عنيف استهدف مخيم النصيرات بغزة، ما تسبب بموجة استنكار واسعة النطاق. وجاء ذلك أثناء عملية قام بها الجيش الإسرائيلي لتخليص 4 محتجزين كانوا في قبضة حركة حماس، بينما أعلنت "كتائب القسام" الجناح العسكري للحركة، أن القصف الذي أسفر عن مقتل وإصابة مئات الفلسطينيين، أدى كذلك إلى مقتل 3 أسرى إسرائيليين لديها. - تفاصيل الواقعة تتذكر العصار التي بالكاد يسمع صوتها من شدة الألم تفاصيل ذلك اليوم قائلة للأناضول: "قبل استهداف منزلنا بدقائق قليلة امتلأت السماء بالطائرات المسيرة، وسكان المنطقة حذرونا من الخروج من المنازل نظرا لانتشار القوات الإسرائيلية الخاصة، لذا لم نتمكن من مغادرة المنزل بسبب إطلاق النار الكثيف من القناصة والطائرات المسيرة". وأضافت: "بقيت برفقة بناتي الستة في المنزل رغم القصف الإسرائيلي العنيف والقريب، حتى تم استهداف منزلنا ووجدنا أنفسنا في غضون دقائق تحت الركام عاجزين عن الخروج". ومن تحت الركام، بدأت العصار بالصراخ للفت انتباه الأشخاص الذين كانوا يحاولون إنقاذ الناجين، حتى سمع أحدهم صوتها وشرعوا بإنقاذها على الفور، على حد قولها. ورغم كثافة النيران التي أحاطت المنطقة آنذاك، إلا أن العصار نقلت على الفور لمستشفى العودة بالمخيم وما أن وصلت حتى استهدفت الطائرات الحربية خيمة الاستقبال والطوارئ على بوابة المستشفى. وتابعت: "بينما أنا في المستشفى كانت أعمال البحث والإنقاذ لبناتي الـ6 جارية، حيث نقلن للمستشفى لتلقي العلاج معي". وبحسب العائلة، فإن اثنتين من بناتها قتلتا جراء القصف الإسرائيلي، فيما لم يتم إبلاغ الأم بذلك خوفا من تدهور حالتها الصحية. - "ما الجرم الذي اقترفناه" و قالت العصار إنها لم تتوقع أن تنقلب الأحداث بهذه السرعة المفاجئة دون إخطار أو تنبيه "كنا نسمع الأخبار ونرى المجازر وكنت أتوقع ذلك لكن ليس بهذه الصورة وبهذه السرعة وهذه الشدة، وكنت أتوقع أن يُطلب منا إخلاء المنزل قبل حدوث أي عملية بإلقاء المناشير أو إجراء الاتصالات". وأضافت للأناضول: "جسدي مليء بالجروح من كثرة الشظايا ولا يوجد منطقة إلا وبها غرز حتى يتمكن الأطباء من إيقاف النزيف، وما زالت بحاجة لإجراء عمليات جراحية". وأعربت العصار عن أمنياتها في "انتهاء الحرب الإسرائيلية بأسرع وقت"، وأن يتاح لبناتها استكمال علاجهن حتى شفائهن. وختمت قولها متسائلة: "قصف الجيش الإسرائيلي منزلنا دون أن يكون لنا علاقة بأي شيء أو بأي فصيل مقاوم! ولم يكن في المنزل إلا أنا وبناتي، فما ذنبنا؟ وما الجرم الذي اقترفناه؟". - معاناة صعبة وبدوره، وصف الزوج محمد العصار في حديث للأناضول، تطور الأحداث قبل وقوع المجزرة بقليل، قائلا: "بدون إنذار أغارت طائرات إسرائيلية في الأجواء وبدأت بقصف عشوائي وعنيف على المنطقة وإطلاق النيران". وأوضح أنهم لم يكونوا على علم بما يحدث، "فقط انتقلت ساحة المعركة إلى مكان سكننا"، على حد قوله. وتابع: "عندما تم استهداف المنزل لم أكن بداخله، لكنني تلقيت اتصالا بقصفه وسقوط أفراد عائلتي بين شهيد وجريح". وعلى الفور، توجه العصار لمستشفى شهداء الأقصى ليجد اثنتين من بناته قد قتلتا، وكل من بقى على قيد الحياة مصابا حتى أصغر بناته ذات الـ7 شهور. وتساءل معربا عن دهشته: "أنا شخص مدني لا علاقة لي بالأمور العسكرية لماذا قصف المنزل؟ بناتي أصبن بجراح متفاوتة بين متوسطة وخطيرة، بينما استشهدت اثنتان منهن وزوجتي في وضع حرج للغاية". ويطالب الأب المكلوم العالم بـ"وقف الحرب الإسرائيلية على غزة ووقف شلال الدم النازف". ومنذ 7 أكتوبر/ تشرين الأول 2023، تشن إسرائيل حربا على غزة خلفت أكثر من 121 ألف فلسطيني بين قتيل وجريح، معظمهم أطفال ونساء، ونحو 10 آلاف مفقود وسط دمار هائل ومجاعة أودت بحياة أطفال ومسنين. وتواصل إسرائيل حربها رغم قرار من مجلس الأمن الدولي بوقفها فورا، وأوامر محكمة العدل الدولية بإنهاء اجتياح مدينة رفح جنوب القطاع، واتخاذ تدابير لمنع وقوع أعمال "إبادة جماعية"، وتحسين الوضع الإنساني المزري في غزة.

رام الله - "القدس" دوت كوم  حذرت جمعية الهلال الأحمر الفلسطيني من خطورة استخدام قوات الاحتلال أول أمس السبت، شاحنة مساعدات إنسانية من أجل التسلل إلى مخيم النصيرات وسط قطاع غزة، وارتكاب مجزرة بحق المدنيين أدت إلى استشهاد 274 مواطنا من بينهم 64 طفلا و57 امرأة، بالإضافة إلى إصابة 700 آخرين وفق الإحصائيات الرسمية، الأمر الذي يعرض سلامة الطواقم العاملة في مجال الإغاثة للخطر. وقالت الجمعية، في بيان لها، مساء اليوم الاثنين، إن تنكّر قوات الاحتلال داخل شاحنة المساعدات، يعتبر جريمة حرب بحق المدنيين ويشكل خرقا واضحا للقانون الدولي الإنساني والعرفي الذي يحرّم جريمة الغدر، إذ قامت قوات الاحتلال بغدر الناس والتنكر بغطاء المساعدات التي يتوق لها المدنيون، في ظل معاناتهم من مستويات خطيرة من انعدام الأمن الغذائي. وطالبت الجمعية، المجتمع الدولي بضرورة محاسبة سلطات الاحتلال على جريمة الحرب هذه وردعها عن الاستمرار في ارتكاب المزيد من المجازر بحق المدنيين، بالإضافة إلى توفير الحماية العاجلة للمدنيين وللعاملين في مجال العمل الإنساني والطبي، وفقا للقانون الدولي الإنساني.

This is Tawfiq, his parents' only son after the passing of his three brothers. Nuseirat Massacre: 274 Martyrs, Including 64 Children and 57 Women Sunday, June 9, 2024, 11:29 AM Gaza – Palestinian Information Center The death toll from the massacre perpetrated by the Israeli occupation forces in the Nuseirat refugee camp has risen to 274 martyrs and nearly 700 wounded, according to the Government Media Office. The Government Media Office in Gaza stated that among the martyrs were 64 children and 57 women, noting that the occupation army used two civilian vehicles in carrying out the Nuseirat massacre. The number of wounded reached 698, including 153 children, 161 women, and 54 elderly people. The remaining casualties were civilians who were present in and around the Nuseirat market and in nearby homes. He confirmed that the occupation soldiers who participated in the Nuseirat massacre disguised themselves as displaced persons, and that the occupation forces bombed 89 homes and residential buildings inhabited by residents during the massacre. Earlier, Palestinian human rights organizations stated that Israeli occupation forces launched a large-scale ground and air attack on the Nuseirat refugee camp and the central Gaza Strip. The 75-minute assault involved the massive use of lethal firepower in a densely populated area, with no regard for civilian casualties, during what they termed a "military operation" to rescue four Israeli captives. According to the statement, an Israeli special forces unit infiltrated the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip using two civilian vehicles, one a Cadillac and the other a large truck. These forces raided two houses in Block 5 of the camp. Shortly afterward, the occupation forces launched a ground assault with a large number of tanks into the camp from three axes: the Abu Assi station to the southeast, the Wadi Bridge area to the northeast, and the Mughraqa area and the New Camp to the north. The statement added that simultaneously, Israeli warplanes directly bombed five houses in the camp, while also launching intense airstrikes and shelling in Block 5, the Hasayna area, and the New Camp. Anis Ghanima wrote on his personal Facebook account: This post is dedicated to the massacre that took place in Nuseirat a few days ago: The raiding forces entered two different locations simultaneously in civilian vehicles, under the cover of low-flying quadcopters and reconnaissance aircraft. Several factors prevented the operation from being detected. First, it occurred during the day in a densely populated civilian area—the central Nuseirat market—which created a surprise and gave the raiding force an advantage. Second, in addition to the camouflage and raids conducted two days prior to the operation, from various locations, and the threat to evacuate a relatively distant hospital (Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah), there was also the preceding media coverage about the disagreements within the occupation government. The first force succeeded in rescuing the captive woman after she killed her captors, before attempting to escape with her by sea. However, the unexpected breakdown of their vehicle on the coast caused the force to stop, become confused, and request backup. Second: The second force, traveling in a white Mercedes carrying the belongings of displaced persons, also included a large number of soldiers and an Arabic-speaking individual (possibly an agent rather than an undercover operative) tasked with rescuing the three male prisoners. These prisoners were apparently being held in a doctor's clinic located in the same building. The man killed at the building's entrance, the son of the building's owner (a man in his seventies), encountered the force and became suspicious of their presence, as they had stopped at a private building. They immediately opened fire on him with a silencer, along with several other civilians. They then used ladders to climb upstairs and killed an elderly man, his son, and his granddaughter. All of this occurred before the force's true nature was discovered, except by someone who happened to enter the street and was killed by the soldiers' gunfire, also from a silencer. Returning to the incident that sparked the confrontation, the vehicle transporting the female prisoner broke down on the coastal road (perhaps just 10 minutes before the evacuation point). Hamas forces discovered this, prompting them to request backup from the force escorting the vehicle. After a clash in which the commander of this force and others were killed, reinforcements (armored vehicles, tanks, low-flying warplanes, etc.) arrived through all entrances to Nuseirat, and chaos ensued. Meanwhile, the force that had successfully rescued the male prisoners remained trapped and also engaged with Qassam Brigades fighters. One particularly dramatic scene occurred when a Qassam fighter aimed an RPG at a white Mercedes and nearly hit it before being killed by a suicide quadcopter. Had it not been for this drone, the operation would have undoubtedly failed. Some facts about the massacre: The reinforcements killed every civilian they encountered using machine guns from armored vehicles and Apache helicopters, which fired incessantly, as well as missiles targeting homes and schools. There is a building opposite the Mamdouh Saidam School on 20th Street. The plane fired a single missile at the building. It waited until people gathered after the initial bombing, then bombed the entire area (approximately 40 people were killed in these raids). Some scenes: I collected my brother's and his wife's remains in one bag! My soul left my body; I couldn't find the house even though it was only two streets away. I stayed in the street, not knowing where to go. I went under a vegetable stand and found everyone there. A young man was killed trying to get under the stand. A woman carrying her son threw him into a truck, next to the driver, and ran with the others. On June 8, 2024, during an operation to rescue hostages held in the Nuseirat refugee camp, the Israeli military killed at least 276 people and injured more than 698 others, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health and Palestinian health officials.[b][8] The objective of the operation was to recover hostages captured during Operation Protective Edge, and the Israeli military acknowledged killing fewer than 100 Palestinians.[9][10][11] Four Israeli hostages—Noa Argamani, Shlomi Ziv, Almog Meir Gan, and Andrei Kozlov—were rescued from two multi-story residential buildings in Nuseirat.[12] According to the Israeli military, they were being held by Hamas civilians in Gaza and were being guarded by Hamas gunmen.[13] During the operation, the Israeli military launched a massive air, sea, and ground assault, resulting in civilian casualties. Josep Borrell, the EU's foreign policy chief, described the events as a "massacre."[14] The Gaza Health Ministry reported that at least 274 Palestinians were killed in the camp, including 64 children and 57 women,[15] with at least 698 wounded.[16] The Israeli military said it was aware of fewer than 100 Palestinian casualties.[17] Yamam officer Arnon Zamora was seriously wounded and later died of his injuries.[18] Following the operation, Abu Ubaida, spokesman for the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, warned that it would lead to further threats against Israeli prisoners.[19] The Qassam Brigades later released a short video claiming that the raid also killed three unidentified Israeli prisoners, including one with dual US citizenship. Background[edit] The Nuseirat refugee camp in the Gaza Strip was established after Palestinians were expelled or fled from Israel during the 1948 Palestine War. Israel began its occupation of the Gaza Strip in 1967, and since 2007, the area has been under an Israeli air and sea blockade. On October 7, 2023, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades (the military wing of Hamas) launched an attack on Israel.[22] As part of the attack, which also involved other Palestinian armed groups, Hamas, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and other Palestinian armed groups kidnapped 251 Israeli civilians and soldiers.[23] This attack led to the Gaza War.[23] Nuseirat Refugee Camp is a refugee camp run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) located in the central Gaza Strip, in Deir al-Balah.[24] The camp was repeatedly bombed during the war between Israel and Hamas, resulting in the deaths of over 100 Palestinians in the attacks. The most recent attack on the camp occurred just days before the rescue operation, when Israeli occupation forces struck an UNRWA school in the camp, killing at least 33 people. The classification of the dead is disputed, as sources in Gaza reported that a number of women and children were among the dead, while the Israeli army said that the dead were among the elite fighters of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.[25][26][27][28] This was the third known successful rescue operation carried out by the Israeli army since the beginning of the war. Israeli army sergeant Uri Megidish was rescued in October 2023 from the northern Gaza Strip, and two male captives were rescued in February 2024 from southern Rafah.[29] Additionally, a number of Israeli and Palestinian prisoners were exchanged in 2023.[30] The four captives rescued from the Rim Music Festival were identified as Noah Argamani (26), Almog Meir Gan (22), Andrei Kozlov (27), and Shlomi Ziv (41). Argamani and Meir Gan were both festival-goers, while Kozlov, a recent immigrant from Russia, and Ziv worked as security guards for the festival.[29][31] Argamani appeared in one of the initial videos released by Hamas documenting the massacre. She was seen being led away on a motorcycle, screaming, "Don't kill me!" Her arms were outstretched toward her boyfriend, Avinatan Or, who was also being abducted.[32][33] This footage became a symbol of the hostage crisis, leading to Argamani being described as "the face of the Nova music festival captives."[34] Argamani's family had indications that she was alive, as she appeared in a Hamas video released in January 2024.[29] The abductees suffered from malnutrition during their captivity and were frequently beaten.[35][36] The three male captives, Shlomi Ziv, Almog Meir Gan, and Andrei Kozlov, reported that they were subjected to physical and psychological abuse while being held by Hamas in Gaza, as reported by The Wall Street Journal.[37] For six months, they were kept in a single dark room with no contact with the outside world. They faced severe punishments for non-compliance, such as being locked in a small bathroom or buried under blankets in extreme heat. The doctor in charge of treating the rescued captives said they had been beaten and showed signs of malnutrition due to insufficient food during their captivity.[38] In addition, their captors subjected them to psychological torture, including death threats and claims that no one would come to their rescue. Professor Itai Pesach at Sheba Medical Center, who treated the three male captives, stated that they suffered severe trauma and muscle atrophy due to malnutrition.[37][39] Argamani said she was held in four different apartments during her eight months in captivity, and at the last location, the family forced her to wash dishes. The newspaper Yediot Aharonot reported that the girl sometimes cooked with basic ingredients provided to her.[35] The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades (the military wing of Hamas) claimed that three other prisoners were killed as a result of the raid.[21] They did not name any of them or show pictures of them, but claimed that one of the three was an American citizen, and released a short video with text in Arabic, Hebrew, and English.[21] The video shows three unidentified bodies, their faces covered with censorship bars.[40] The Brigades did not reveal details about how the prisoners were killed, but said they were killed by the Israeli army.[c] "In return, your army killed three of your prisoners in the same attack, one of whom held American citizenship" - Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, June 9, 2024.[21] Rescue[edit] The Israeli occupation forces said they worked with the Israeli internal security service (Shin Bet) and the Israeli police to free the four Israeli prisoners.[42] As later reported The operation was carried out with intelligence assistance from the United States[43] and the United Kingdom.[44] It was planned over several weeks and executed after an intelligence opportunity arose.[11] Some special forces operatives entered the refugee camp in a vehicle with a mattress on top, disguised as Palestinian refugees fleeing Rafah, according to Saudi correspondents. They reportedly told local residents they were fleeing an Israeli attack on Rafah, while other Palestinian residents claimed that other forces entered in humanitarian trucks.[45] However, a senior Biden administration official claims that Israeli forces did not use an aid truck.[46] Footage from a body camera worn by a Yamam unit soldier during the rescue operation shows the penetration area where the three male captives were found and the partial movement of the captives to a safe area. The operation began around 11:00 a.m., when Yamam and Shin Bet officers raided two multi-story buildings, approximately 200 meters apart, in the center of Nuseirat, where the captives were reportedly being held in two family homes.[47][42] During their captivity, the captives were held in a civilian environment, under the guard of armed men.[11][48] The female captive, Argamani, was reportedly held separately from the three male captives, who were reportedly held together throughout their eight-month captivity. None of them were being held in the Hamas tunnel network.[49] The Israeli military stated that the three captives were being held in the home of Dr. Ahmed al-Jamal's family at the time of the rescue operation. His son, Abdullah al-Jamal, was also present, as was the freelance journalist.[50] Rami Abdu, head of the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor, reported that Ahmed al-Jamal, Abdullah al-Jamal, and his wife were all killed after Israeli occupation forces stormed the house using a ladder.[51] Al Jazeera denied the Israeli army's claim that Abdullah al-Jamal was one of its journalists, stating that he had contributed to an opinion piece published on its website but had no other affiliation with the network.[52] Abdullah al-Jamal had contributed to the Palestine Chronicle, a US-based, non-profit online magazine.[53] The Palestine Chronicle alleged inconsistencies in the Israeli account,[53] but an investigation by The Wall Street Journal found that the al-Jamal family was known for its close ties to and support for Hamas. Local residents criticized Hamas for holding captives in civilian areas.[54] During the extraction of the three male captives, a gun battle broke out, resulting in the fatal injury of the Yamam rescue team leader at the building.[47] During the operation, the Southern Command and the Israeli Air Force reported exchanging fire with Hamas militants.[11] An IDF spokesperson stated that its forces came under fire both inside buildings and while withdrawing from Gaza.[55] The three captives were extracted from the refugee camp, but when the extraction vehicle became stuck, additional forces were required to rescue them as the vehicle came under fire. They were then taken to a landing zone on the coast and airlifted to Israel. [56] The abductees were unharmed and were taken to Sheba Medical Center.[55] An eyewitness in the camp reported that a "crazy bombardment" occurred suddenly, while another stated that the strike happened while people were sleeping.[29] Eyewitnesses reported that entire residential blocks were completely destroyed.[57] An eyewitness who was in the market reported that approximately 150 rockets fell on and around the market in less than 10 minutes.[58] According to a resident and a medic in the camp, the attack looked like a "horror movie," and Israeli warplanes and drones fired indiscriminately throughout the night at people's homes and those who tried to flee the area. Videos posted on social media purportedly showed bodies and entrails strewn across bloodied streets after the attack, although Reuters was unable to immediately verify the footage.[48] Additional footage showed Palestinians in the market area seeking cover as missiles flew overhead and gunfire erupted.[59] The United States denied using its floating dock in Gaza (designated for delivering aid to Gaza) in the operation. This denial followed the release of images showing the landing area used for the air evacuation directly south along the coast from the dock, with the US facility clearly visible in the nearby background.[60] The massacre[edit] Air strikes[edit] Reports indicate that "at least one of the vehicles" carrying the three captives broke down, and the Israeli military called in reinforcements, "attacking from the air, sea, and land with overwhelming force."[50] At 11:27 and around 10:00 a.m., a strike occurred near the building from which the three male captives had been rescued. The building was subsequently destroyed by another strike. Shortly before noon, another airstrike destroyed the building where Noah Argamani was being held. Eyal Shehatut, a resident of the adjacent building, told The New York Times that his home was bombed, burying several members of his family under the rubble. Eighteen members of his family were killed, including his wife, four children, and two grandchildren. The Israeli military offered no explanation for why the house was targeted. South of the detention sites, a market was also struck. At 11:45 and around 10:00 a.m., plumes of smoke were seen rising over the center of Nuseirat. [61] Dozens of local residents, including children, were killed. According to a statement from Doctors Without Borders, which operates at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, "We witnessed a large number of casualties in succession as a result of the bombing of densely populated areas. This far exceeds what any functioning hospital can handle, let alone the meager resources we have here."[62] Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat was also overflowing with casualties, "including many children lying in the corridors."[50] "The raids destroyed residential buildings throughout the camp, according to eyewitnesses and video footage."[46] The UN Human Rights Office said that both Israeli forces and Palestinian armed groups may have committed war crimes, citing "possible violations of the rules of proportionality, distinction, and precaution" in the former case and "the detention of prisoners in densely populated areas" in the latter.[63] Casualties[edit] The operation sparked controversy regarding the death toll. The Gaza Ministry of Health announced on the same day that the number of casualties had "risen to 210 martyrs and more than 400 wounded." Later that day, the number was updated to 274 Palestinians killed during the operation, with approximately 700 wounded.[49][64] Tania Haj Hassan, a pediatric intensive care physician with Doctors Without Borders, stated that Al-Aqsa Hospital, where 109 Palestinians, including 23 children, 11 women, and over 100 wounded, were taken,[65] was "a complete bloodbath."[66] Ziad, a medic and resident of Nuseirat, and Abu Ubaida, a spokesman for the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, referred to the attack as a massacre.[15] Another 100 people killed in the attacks were taken to Al-Awda Hospital.[65] The number of combatants included in these figures is unknown.[67][68][46] According to the Israeli military, Hamas pays Palestinian families to hold captives in their homes, which may explain the high casualty count.[47][69] In addition, a large-scale gun battle ensued. During an attempt by Israeli special forces to extract the prisoners, they reportedly came under fire from dozens of militants using RPGs and machine guns when their vehicle broke down. The Israeli military called in airstrikes to cover the evacuation.[49][47] The Israeli military estimated the number of casualties in the operation at "less than 100."[58] Hamas spokesman Abu Ubaida stated that the operation resulted in the deaths of several other Israeli prisoners, including one with American citizenship,[70][20] a claim denied by Israeli military spokesman Peter Lerner.[71] The day after the operation, Hamas's military wing released a video on its Telegram channel showing the bodies of three prisoners allegedly killed during the rescue operation. The faces of the bodies were obscured to prevent identification.[21][72] Aftermath: Argamani was reunited with her father and taken to Sheba Medical Center to meet her mother, who was receiving treatment for terminal brain cancer. Her father told reporters, "Today is my birthday, and what a present I received!"[73] During a phone call with Argamani, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, "We haven't given up on you for a single moment."[29] Her mother died less than a month later.[74] The rescue operation was renamed "Operation Arnon," in honor of Arnon Zamora, the commander of the rescue mission who later died of his wounds.[47] A pedestrian bridge in Petah Tikva was also renamed "Operation Arnon Bridge."[75] Israeli-Arab actress and broadcaster Lama Tatour was fired after posting on Instagram about Noa Argamani's appearance. She wrote: "Is this what a girl who has been held captive for nine months looks like? [...] Is this what innocent women and children in Gaza are killed for?" She said that Argamani's eyebrows looked better than her own.[76] Some interpreted her comments as "insensitive" and "mocking" Argamani's appearance.[77][78] Israeli cabinet member for war Benny Gantz postponed a press conference scheduled for the night of the raid, which coincided with his deadline to resign if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not present a new war plan.[79] He resigned the following day.[80] Allegations arose that a floating pier built by the US military in Gaza was used in the IDF operation, after a video showing an IDF helicopter taking off from the shore with the pier in the background began circulating online on June 8, 2024.[43][better citation needed] US officials stated that the pier was used only for humanitarian aid and that the helicopter was being used to return prisoners to Israel and landed south of the pier but not within the cordoned-off area.[43] The US had promised aid groups that the pier would be a no-go zone for Israeli forces, and The United Nations suspended aid operations at the dock while it investigated whether Israel's actual or perceived use of the dock facilities, and Palestinian perceptions of this, had mitigated the ongoing clashes at the dock.[81] Oxfam and other aid organizations said they were awaiting answers from the US government.[81] Aid deliveries at the dock resumed on June 19, 2024, but aid agencies did not resume distribution.[82] The dock was removed due to bad weather on June 28, 2024.[82] Reactions[edit] Local[edit] Hamas issued a press release on June 8 describing the actions of the Israeli army and the Israeli military as a "horrific massacre of innocent civilians."[29] Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh said that "the resistance will continue," adding, "If the occupation thinks it can impose its choices on us by force, it is mistaken." Abu Ubaida, the spokesman for the movement's military wing, stated in a press release: "The operation will pose a great danger to the enemy's prisoners and will have a negative impact on their conditions and lives."[19] Palestine: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas described the rescue operation as a "massacre."[83][84] The day after the operation, Abbas instructed the Palestinian envoy to the United Nations to request an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council to discuss the repercussions of the operation and the resulting deaths.[85][better citation needed] Israel: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: "We are committed to doing this in the future as well. We will not stop until we complete the mission and bring all the prisoners home—the living and the dead."[86] Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said the operation was "daring in nature, brilliantly planned, and executed in an extraordinary way."[87] Families of the remaining prisoners reiterated their demands for a ceasefire after news of the rescue operation broke. The wife of one of the prisoners' sons stated, "The prisoners don't have time. We can't release everyone in operations, and we need to reach an agreement that saves lives."[72] A member of the health team at the Prisoners and Missing Families Forum stated that such operations are not a way to recover all the remaining prisoners—dead or alive—but rather the focus should be on a ceasefire.[58] International[edit] Argentina: Argentine President Javier Mauricio Macri celebrated the release of the four prisoners on Twitter, writing, "Long live freedom, damn it!"[88] Austria: Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer expressed his "great relief," but stressed that "far too many are still being brutally held by Hamas. They must all be released immediately." He also pledged to continue "all efforts" to secure the release of prisoner Tal Shoham, who holds Austrian citizenship.[89] Cuba: Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez said, "We condemn in the strongest terms the massacre perpetrated by the Israeli army in the Nuseirat refugee camp in Gaza."[90] Egypt: The country condemned the killing of civilians, describing it as "a flagrant violation of all rules of international law." [91] France: French President Emmanuel Macron praised the rescue of the prisoners and called for a lasting political solution to the war in Gaza. [92] Germany: Chancellor Olaf Scholz wrote that the rescue of the prisoners was "an important sign of hope," adding that "four prisoners are now free. Hamas must finally release all the prisoners. The war must end." [93] Indonesia: The country condemned the "repeated atrocities" committed by Israel in Gaza, including in the Nuseirat refugee camp, and called for an immediate ceasefire. [94] Jordan: The country condemned the killing of civilians and called on "the international community, and especially the Security Council, to take immediate and urgent action to stop the war crimes being committed by Israel in Gaza." [95] Kuwait: The country condemned the killing of civilians and described it as a "heinous crime." [96] Lebanon: The Lebanese Foreign Ministry described the operation as a massacre. [97] Norway: Deputy Foreign Minister Andreas Motzfeldt-Kravek condemned the attack on civilians and called for the release of all prisoners. [95] Poland: The Foreign Minister wrote Radoslaw Sikorski: "Well done, Israeli occupation army. I hope all the prisoners will return home, and that a just peace will prevail between Israel and Palestine." [98] Turkey: The country condemned the killing of civilians and described it as a "barbaric attack." [99] United Kingdom: Prime Minister Rishi Sunak wrote: "It is a great relief to see the hostages return after their incredible ordeal, and we are delighted to see pictures of them back with their families. Guterres added: “I reiterate my call for the immediate and unconditional release of all prisoners and an end to this war.”[102] Balakrishnan Rajagopal, the UN Special Rapporteur on the right to housing, said that “states that celebrate the release of four Israeli prisoners without commenting on the killing of hundreds of Palestinians and the arbitrary detention of thousands more by Israel have lost their moral credibility for generations and do not deserve to be members of any UN human rights body.”[102] The European Union: Josep Borrell, the EU’s top diplomat, condemned the scale of the casualties in the Nuseirat refugee camp resulting from the rescue operation, calling it “...another massacre of civilians.” He also called for a ceasefire and the release of all remaining prisoners.[103] Hezbollah: In response to the operation, the Iranian-backed group launched attacks against northern Israel, stating: "This targeting comes in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their courageous and honorable resistance, and in response to the aggression of the Israeli enemy."[104] Gulf Cooperation Council: Secretary-General Jassem Mohammed Al-Badawi described the operation as "a terrorist crime that targeted defenseless civilians with unprecedented brutality."[105] Humanitarian Aid Groups[edit] The Palestinian Red Crescent Society condemned the use of the humanitarian aid truck as cover for military operations, describing it as "a violation of international humanitarian law and customary law," noting that such acts constitute treachery, which is considered a war crime.[106] The Doctors Without Borders coordinator in Gaza asked: "How many more men, women, and children must be killed before world leaders decide to put an end to this carnage?"[107] According to Dr. Tania Hadj Hassan, a pediatrician with Doctors Without Borders, colleagues in the emergency department described At Al-Asqa Hospital, the situation was described as "the word massacre, massacre, massacre repeated over and over again."[108] Oxfam described the attack as a "horrific massacre" and "a very high and unacceptable price to pay."[109][110] Other[edit] Sol Takahashi, professor at Osaka Gokakuin University and former Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights, stated: "The claim that the Israeli attack on Nuseirat camp was justified completely disregards international law. أيام قليلة من عملية الإنقاذ، حيث قامت قوات جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي بضرب مدرسة تابعة للأونروا في المخيم، مما أسفر عن مقتل 33 شخصًا على الأقل. إن تصنيف القتلى متنازع عليه حيث أفادت مصادر في غزة أن عدداً من النساء والأطفال كانوا ضمن حصيلة القتلى، في حين قال جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي أن القتلى كانوا من بين مقاتلي النخبة في حماس والجهاد الإسلامي الفلسطيني.[25][26][27][28] وكانت هذه العملية هي ثالث عملية إنقاذ ناجحة معروفة ينفذها جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي منذ بداية الحرب. تم إنقاذ الرقيب في جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي أوري ميجيديش  [لغات أخرى]‏ في أكتوبر 2023 من الجزء الشمالي لقطاع غزة، وتم إنقاذ اثنين من الأسرى الذكور في فبراير 2024 من جنوب رفح.[29] بالإضافة إلى ذلك، تم تبادل عدد من الأسرى الإسرائيليين والسجناء الفلسطينيين في عام 2023.[30] الأسرى[عدل] المقالة الرئيسة: أسرى الحرب الفلسطينية الإسرائيلية إلى وصف أرغاماني بأنه "وجه أسرى مهرجان نوفا الموسيقي".[34] وكان لدى عائلة أرغامي مؤشرات على أنها على قيد الحياة، حيث ظهرت في مقطع فيديو لحماس صدر في يناير/كانون الثاني 2024.[29] كان المختطفون يعانون من سوء التغذية أثناء أسرهم وكانوا يتعرضون للضرب في كثير من الأحيان.[35][36] أفاد الأسرى الثلاثة الذكور، شلومي زيف، وألموغ مائير جان، وأندريه كوزلوف، أنهم تعرضوا لاعتداءات جسدية ونفسية أثناء وجودهم في أسر حماس في غزة، كما ذكرت صحيفة وول ستريت جورنال.[37] لمدة ستة أشهر تم حبسهم في غرفة مظلمة واحدة دون أي اتصال بالعالم الخارجي. وواجهوا عقوبات شديدة لعدم الامتثال، مثل حبسهم في حمام صغير أو دفنهم تحت أي منهم، أو يعرضوا صورًا لهم، لكنهم زعموا أن أحد الثلاثة مواطن أمريكي، ونشروا مقطع فيديو قصيرًا يحتوي على نص باللغات العربية والعبرية والإنجليزية.[21] ويظهر في الفيديو ثلاث جثث مجهولة الهوية، حيث كانت وجوههم مغطاة بقضبان الرقابة.[40] ولم تكشف الكتائب عن تفاصيل حول كيفية مقتل الأسرى، لكنها قالت إنهم قتلوا على يد الجيش الإسرائيلي.[ج] "في مقابلهم قتل جيشكم ثلاثة من أسراكم في نفس الهجوم، أحدهم يحمل الجنسية الأميركية" - كتائب القسام، 9 حزيران/يونيو 2024.[21] الإنقاذ[عدل] وقالت قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلية إنها عملت مع جهاز الأمن الداخلي الإسرائيلي (الشاباك) والشرطة الإسرائيلية لتحرير الأسرى الجمل وقت عملية الإنقاذ. ابنه عبدالله الجمل وكان من بين الحاضرين أيضًا الصحفي المستقل.[50] وأفاد رامي عبده، رئيس المرصد الأورومتوسطي لحقوق الإنسان، بأن أحمد الجمل وعبد الله الجمل وزوجته قتلوا جميعاً بعد اقتحام قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي للمنزل بواسطة السلم.[51] نفت قناة الجزيرة مزاعم جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي بأن عبد الله الجمل كان أحد صحفييها، مشيرة إلى أنه ساهم في كتابة مقال رأي نُشر على موقعها الإلكتروني، لكن لم تكن له أي علاقة أخرى بالشبكة.[52] كان عبد الله الجمل قد ساهم في مجلة كرونيكل فلسطين، وهي مجلة إلكترونية غير ربحية مقرها الولايات المتحدة.[53] وزعمت صحيفة ذا بالستاين كرونيكل وجود تناقضات في الرواية الإسرائيلية،[53] إلا أن تحقيقاً أجرته صحيفة وول ستريت جورنال وجد أن عائلة الجمل كانت معروفة بعلاقاتها الوثيقة مع حماس ودعمها لها. وانتقد السكان المحليون حركة حماس بسبب احتجازها الأسرى في المناطق المدنية.[54] أثناء استخراج الأسرى الثلاثة الذكور، اندلعت معركة بالأسلحة النارية، مما أدى إلى إصابة قائد فريق الإنقاذ في يامام لهذا المبنى بجروح قاتلة.[47] خلال العملية، قالت القيادة غطاء بينما كانت الصواريخ تحلق في المنطقة وينطلق إطلاق النار.[59] ونفت الولايات المتحدة استخدام رصيفها العائم في غزة (المخصص لتوصيل المساعدات إلى غزة) في العملية. وجاء هذا النفي في أعقاب نشر صور تظهر بالقرب من المبنى الذي تم إنقاذ الأسرى الثلاثة الذكور منه. وبعد ذلك تم هدم المبنى بضربة أخرى. وقبل الظهر بقليل، أدت غارة أخرى إلى هدم المبنى الذي كانت تحتجز فيه نوح أرغاماني. وقال إيال شحتوت، أحد سكان المبنى المجاور، لصحيفة نيويورك تايمز إن منزله تعرض للقصف، مما أدى إلى دفن العديد من أفراد عائلته تحت الأنقاض. قُتل 18 من أفراد عائلته، بينهم زوجته وأربعة أطفال وحفيدان. ولم يقدم الجيش الإسرائيلي أي تفسير لسبب استهداف المنزل. وإلى الجنوب من مواقع احتجاز الأسرى، تم استهداف سوق أيضًا. الساعة 11:45 وفي حوالي الساعة 10:00 صباحا، شوهدت أعمدة الدخان تتصاعد في وسط مدينة النصيرات.[61] وقُتل العشرات من السكان المحليين، بينهم أطفال. وفقًا لبيان صادر عن منظمة أطباء بلا حدود، التي تعمل في مستشفى شهداء الأقصى بدير البلح، "شهدنا سقوط عدد كبير من الضحايا المتتاليين نتيجة قصف المناطق المكتظة بالسكان. وهذا امرأة وأكثر من 100 جريح،[65] كان "حمام دم كامل".[66] أشار زياد، وهو مسعف ومقيم في النصيرات، وأبو عبيدة، المتحدث باسم كتائب القسام، إلى الهجوم باعتباره مجزرة.[15] تم نقل 100 شخص آخرين قتلوا في الهجمات "عملية أرنون"، تكريمًا لأرنون زمورا، قائد مهمة الإنقاذ الذي توفي لاحقًا متأثرًا بجراحه.[47] كما تم تغيير اسم جسر للمشاة في بتاح تكفا إلى "جسر عملية أرنون".[75] تم طرد الممثلة والمذيعة العربية الإسرائيلية لمى طاطور بعد أن نشرت منشورًا على موقع إنستغرام بخصوص ظهور نوا أرغاماني. كتبت: "هكذا تبدو فتاةٌ في الأسر منذ تسعة أشهر؟ [...] هذا ما تُقتل من أجله النساء والأطفال الأبرياء في غزة؟" وقالت إن حواجب أرغاماني تبدو أجمل من حواجبها.[76] فسر البعض تعليقاتها بأنها "غير حساسة" و"تسخر" من مظهر أرجاماني.[77][78] أرجأ عضو مجلس الوزراء الإسرائيلي لشؤون الحرب بيني غانتس مؤتمرا صحفيا كان مقررا عقده The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor further noted that Al Jazeera's investigative report included documented evidence and meticulous field analysis of one of the bloodiest massacres perpetrated by the Israeli occupation army during its ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the killing of 274 Palestinians and the wounding of 814 others in a single day. He affirmed that the data presented in the investigation, which corroborates previous field documentation by the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor, constitutes irrefutable evidence that the Israeli occupation army committed a full-fledged war crime on June 8, 2024, in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. This occurred during a military operation that the army claimed was aimed at "liberating hostages," while in reality, it resulted in hundreds of civilian casualties due to the excessive use of force and the direct targeting of civilians without any military necessity, in areas far removed from the Israeli army's operation. At the time, the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor documented the Israeli occupation army launching concentrated and violent air, land, and sea attacks that lasted for approximately two hours on the central market area, which is crowded with tens of thousands of residents daily in the Nuseirat camp and surrounding areas. Following the massacre, the Israeli occupation army announced that its forces, in coordination with the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) and the Yamam (Israel Police), had rescued four Israeli hostages in an operation carried out by special forces in the Nuseirat refugee camp. The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor stated that the Israeli military operation was characterized by indiscriminate and heavy air and artillery attacks to cover the withdrawal of Israeli forces. The attacks then expanded to larger areas within the camp, including indiscriminate shelling from Israeli vehicles positioned at the entrance to Bureij refugee camp and in the Al-Awda Street area northeast of Nuseirat. He added that the intense Israeli bombardment forced thousands of civilians to attempt to flee the Nuseirat camp, but they were pursued by drone fire and artillery shells, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries. Dozens of bodies were seen in the Jules Street area in the center of the camp. The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor stated that the killing of Palestinian journalist Ahmed al-Shayyah, who participated in the production of the investigation, in an Israeli airstrike carried out after the work was completed, confirms Israel's policy of targeting journalists and those documenting crimes, as part of a policy of concealing evidence and killing witnesses. Salama Al-Nuwairi Saloush... one of the finest young men in the area... no one ever complained about him... his love was deeply rooted in everyone's hearts... he was martyred today in a horrific event that befell the Nuseirat camp... events that unfolded in two or three hours, like the horrors of Judgment Day... May God have mercy on him and grant him paradise... he was saved from a life of death in Gaza...

(Among the believers are men who have been true to their covenant with Allah. Some of them have fulfilled their pledge, and some are still waiting, and they have not altered [it] in the least.) With faith in God's decree and destiny, I announce the passing of My father, The martyr Na'im Fakhri Al-Khalidi (Abu Muhammad), who was martyred in the Nuseirat massacre today. To God we belong, and to Him we shall return. (And never think that those who have been killed in the cause of God are dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision, rejoicing.) Because of what Allah has given them of His bounty, and they rejoice for those who have not yet joined them from behind - that there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.

(مِّنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُواْ مَا عَٰهَدُواْ ٱللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ ۖ فَمِنْهُم مَّن قَضَىٰ نَحْبَهُۥ وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُ ۖ وَمَا بَدَّلُواْ تَبْدِيلًا) إيمانا بقضاء الله وقدره انعي والدي الشهيد نعيم فخري الخالدي(ابو محمد) الذي ارتقى شهيداً في مجزرة النصيرات هذا اليوم وانا لله وانا اليه راجعون (وَلاَ تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ أَمْوَاتًا بَلْ أَحْيَاء عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُون ۝ فَرِحِينَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَيَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِالَّذِينَ لَمْ يَلْحَقُواْ بِهِم مِّنْ خَلْفِهِمْ أَلاَّ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُون)

(Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your full reward on the Day of Resurrection.) (And give good tidings to the patient, who, when afflicted with calamity, say, "Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we will return.") My uncle, the martyr, has passed away. (Naeem Fakhri Abdulhameed Al-Khalidi) We consider him a martyr in the sight of Allah, and we say only what pleases Allah: Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we will return. May Allah have mercy on him and grant him spacious gardens in Paradise. O Allah, expand his grave, honor his resting place, and make his grave a garden from the gardens of Paradise.

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. (And give good tidings to those who patiently persevere, those who, when afflicted with calamity, say, "Indeed, we belong to God, and indeed, to Him we will return." Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided.) God Almighty has spoken the truth. With hearts believing in God's decree and destiny, we received today the news of the martyrdom of our dear cousin, Muhammad Hussein Abu Ataywi. May God have mercy on you, dear one. To God belongs what He takes and to God belongs what He gives, and everything with Him is by measure. O God, bestow patience and solace upon his family, and we ask God to grant him spacious gardens in Paradise. Indeed, we belong to God, and indeed, to Him we will return. Pray for him with mercy and forgiveness.

Our family today received a new badge of honor from the ranks of martyrs, as we bid farewell to three martyrs who have joined the ranks of purity and dignity: our cousin, Muhammad Ahmad Abu Nar, his wife, and his daughter—martyrs, God willing. To God we belong, and to Him we shall return. May God have mercy on you, dear one, and on your brothers who preceded you in martyrdom, and on all the martyrs who wash away with their blood the shame of submission, humiliation, and degradation from a nation still in a coma, unawakened by the sacrifice of tens of thousands of victims. There is no power nor strength except with God.

Martyr, God willing, Muhammad Abu Nar Abu Ahmad. May God have mercy on him and accept him. We were together yesterday. He was a helpful, polite, and humble man who loved to assist. He contributed to our volunteer work filling gas cylinders from start to finish, and other charitable work for our displaced brothers and sisters in the tents. Pray for mercy for him.

The home of Zakaria Ayesh (Abu Muhammad), located behind the Abdullah Azzam Mosque on Abu 6 Street, behind the Jules Building in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, was targeted. Zakaria Ayesh's wife and daughter were killed, and neighboring houses sustained significant damage.

Praise be to God for what He has decreed and ordained. My brother Ahmed was martyred an hour ago, joining my daughters, may God have mercy on them all. We say only what pleases our Lord. Our condolences to our neighbors, the Damo, Abu Subh, Hamid, Mazhar, Imad, Abu Naji, and Khattab families. We pray for the wounded to recover. Indeed, we belong to God, and to Him we shall return.

My dear brother and childhood friend, the martyr Ayman Al-Awawdeh. Your memory, my brother and beloved soul, will remain eternally in my heart, never to be erased by the details of this life. Your pure soul will accompany mine as long as I live, God willing. My tears will continue to console your absence until we meet again, God willing. Longing will continue to sear our hearts, and the lump in our throats will remain. Our days will continue to tell the story of a young man, like the full moon, who fell beneath the earth, and our farewell was far away. Blessed are you for what you have attained, my martyr. May God reunite us in the highest Paradise, O Lord. My martyred brother, how I long for you, the dearest thing I have lost.

Sorrows continue to befall us, and we do not question God's decree. All praise is due to Him for what He has ordained and decreed. Just yesterday, we bid farewell to my aunt and my other aunt, and we had barely begun to gather our grief and dry our tears for their loss when we lost our beloved cousin, the martyr, God willing, Ayman Al-Awawdeh. God Almighty says, "And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient." (Quran 2:155) O God, forgive them, have mercy on them, and grant them spacious gardens in Paradise. To God we belong, and to Him we shall return.

تتوالى الأحزان ولا اعتراض على الله في حكمه فله الحمد على ما قضى وأمضى، بالامس القريب ودعنا خالتي وعمتي و لم نكد نلملم أحزاننا و نكفكف دموعنا في فقدانهم لنزف ابن العم الحبيب والقريب من القلب الشهيد باذن الله ايمن العواودة يقول الله تعالى (ولنبلونكم بشيء من الخوف والجوع ونقص من الأموال والأنفس والثمرات وبشر الصابرين) اللهم اغفر لهم و ارحمهم و اسكنهم فسيح جناتك. وانا لله وانا اليه راجعون

The miraculous survival of five-year-old Tawfiq Abu Yousef from a massacre perpetrated by the Israeli occupation army in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip was short-lived. He breathed his last on Thursday, after an earlier announcement of his death and his subsequent return to life. The dramatic events unfolded on June 8th when Tawfiq was declared dead and taken to the morgue at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the besieged Gaza Strip. However, a shocking turn of events occurred when, as he was being prepared for burial, he miraculously revived, to the astonishment of those around him, according to a medical source and members of his family. In this massacre, the Israeli army killed 274 Palestinians, including 64 children and 57 women, while hundreds of civilians were wounded. This occurred as part of the ongoing war on Gaza, which began on October 7, 2023. The army carried out the massacre to free four prisoners held by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), which announced the deaths of three other Israeli prisoners in the massacre. The massacre sparked widespread condemnation and criticism of Israel. This "return to life" lasted no more than six days, as he died yesterday, Thursday, from the severe injuries he sustained in the Israeli bombing. A video clip, posted on social media, documented this incident, showing Tawfiq's first reaction after his death was announced. Medical sources at the European Hospital told Anadolu Agency that "the child Tawfiq died from his injuries after suffering a severe head injury in the Nuseirat massacre." The sources added that "Tawfiq was hit by shrapnel in his head, and pieces of stone became lodged in his brain. He was transferred from Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip to the European Hospital in Khan Younis (south), where he underwent several surgeries, but ultimately succumbed to his injuries." Advertisement Tawfiq was the only child of his family, who lost two daughters in a previous Israeli bombing that targeted the Nuseirat market, and their eldest son last year to cancer due to the lack of access to proper treatment under the blockade. Details of the Day of the Massacre Tawfiq's mother told Anadolu Agency, "The situation in Nuseirat was normal before it turned into a war zone within minutes." She added, "We didn't understand what was happening. Suddenly, bullets were raining down on us from all directions in an atmosphere of terror." She then clutched her youngest child tightly, saying, "He was very scared at that moment from the sounds of the nearby explosions... This is my last son, my only hope in life. I was determined to protect him." Minutes later, a missile targeted a house next to the Abu Yousef family's home, causing half of it to collapse on top of them, she said. She continued, "Suddenly, the place went dark because of the thick smoke from the bombing. I picked up Tawfiq and tried to escape with him." The mother of Tawfiq Abu Yousef lost all her children due to the siege and Israeli bombing (Anadolu Agency). The mother felt blood on her hands and thought she had been injured, but she couldn't see anything because of the thick smoke. But a cry for help from her child alerted her to his injury, prompting her to rush him to the hospital, she added. "The street was deserted except for the sounds of bullets hitting the walls of houses and the sounds of explosions," the mother said. "Part of Tawfiq's brain was outside his head because of the injury," she explained. "I walked for a long time until I found a relative who helped me." The mother went between Al-Awda and Al-Aqsa Martyrs hospitals to try to save her child. While his father took over his care at the hospital, she returned home. There, the father was informed by the hospital that Tawfiq had died due to the severity of his injuries, according to the mother. "In a phone call, they told me Tawfiq had died. This was one of the hardest moments I've ever experienced. I only regained consciousness inside Al-Awda Hospital (because I fainted from the shock of the news)." "When I came to, they told me that Tawfiq had come back to life," she added. The mother couldn't comprehend the shock, so she rushed to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital to find her child in the operating room. Deprived of Life She continued, "He remained in the operating room for three and a half hours. After he came out, the doctor informed us that he had removed two shrapnel fragments and two stones from his brain, and that he had been transferred to intensive care." She concluded, "These are Israel's objectives... He needed to be evacuated for treatment so he could have his right to life." Since May 7th, Israel has controlled the Palestinian side of the Rafah border crossing with Egypt (south), a day after Tel Aviv announced the start of a military operation in the city, which is densely populated with displaced people. This has resulted in the closure of the crossing to prevent the wounded from leaving for treatment. In total, the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip has left more than 122,000 Palestinians dead or wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amidst widespread destruction and famine that has claimed the lives of dozens, mostly children. For the 18th year, Israel has been blockading the Gaza Strip, and its war has forced nearly two million of its 2.3 million Palestinian residents to flee in catastrophic conditions, with severe shortages of food, water and medicine.

لم تدم طويلا قصة نجاة الطفل توفيق أبو يوسف (5 أعوام) من مجزرة ارتكبها جيش الاحتلال الإسرائيلي في مخيم النصيرات وسط قطاع غزة، حيث لفظ أنفاسه الأخيرة أمس الخميس بعد إعلان سابق عن وفاته وعودته للحياة مجددا. وجرت أحداث القصة المثيرة في الثامن من يونيو/حزيران الجاري عندما تم إعلان وفاة توفيق ونقله إلى ثلاجة للموتى في مستشفى شهداء الأقصى وسط القطاع الفلسطيني المحاصر، لكن المفاجأة حدثت عندما تم تكفينه حيث عاد إلى الحياة وسط دهشة المحيطين، وذلك حسب مصدر طبي وأفراد من عائلته. وفي هذه المجزرة، قتل الجيش الإسرائيلي 274 فلسطينيا، بينهم 64 طفلا و57 امرأة، في حين أصيب مئات المدنيين، وذلك ضمن حرب متواصلة على غزة منذ 7 أكتوبر/تشرين الأول 2023. ونفذ الجيش مجزرته لتخليص 4 أسرى كانوا في قبضة حركة المقاومة الإسلامية (حماس)، التي أعلنت مقتل 3 أسرى إسرائيليين آخرين في المجزرة التي أثارت إدانات وانتقادات واسعة ضد إسرائيل. ولم تطل تلك "العودة للحياة" لأكثر من 6 أيام، حيث توفي أمس الخميس متأثرا بجروحه البالغة التي أصيب بها جراء القصف الإسرائيلي. وقد وثّق مقطع مصور، نشر على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، هذه الواقعة، ويُظهر توفيق وهو يبدي أول استجابة بعد إعلان مقتله. وقالت مصادر طبية في المستشفى الأوروبي للأناضول إن "الطفل توفيق توفي متأثرا بجروحه بعد تعرضه لإصابة خطيرة في منطقة الرأس في مجزرة النصيرات". وأضافت المصادر أن "توفيق أُصيب بشظايا في رأسه واستقرت قطع حجارة داخل دماغه، لذلك تم نقله من مستشفى شهداء الأقصى في مدينة دير البلح وسط قطاع غزة إلى المستشفى الأوروبي في خان يونس (جنوب)، حيث خضع لعدة عمليات جراحية، لكنه فارق الحياة". إعلان وتوفيق الطفل الوحيد لأسرته التي فقدت طفلتيها في قصف إسرائيلي سابق استهدف سوق النصيرات، ونجلها الأكبر العام الماضي جراء إصابته بمرض السرطان وعدم توفر العلاج المناسب في ظل الحصار. تفاصيل يوم المجزرة بدورها، قالت والدة توفيق للأناضول إن "الوضع في النصيرات كان طبيعيا قبل أن يتحوّل في غضون دقائق إلى ساحة حرب". وأضافت الأم "لم نفهم ماذا جرى، فجأة حاصرنا الرصاص من كل حدب وصوب في جو من الرعب". وبقوة، احتضنت آنذاك طفلها الأخير، وقالت إنه كان "خائفا جدا في تلك اللحظة من أصوات الانفجارات القريبة.. هذا الولد الأخير لي، هو أملي في الحياة، حرصت على حمايته". وبعد دقائق، استهدف صاروخ منزلا مجاورا لعائلة أبو يوسف، مما أدى إلى انهيار نصف منزلهم فوق رؤوسهم، وفق قولها. وأردفت "فجأة تحوّل المكان إلى ظلام جراء دخان القصف الكثيف، فحملت توفيق وحاولت الهروب به". والدة الطفل توفيق أبو يوسف فقدت جميع أطفالها بسبب الحصار والقصف الإسرائيلي (الأناضول) وشعرت الأم بدماء على يديها، فاعتقدت أنها أصيبت، ولم تتمكن من رؤية شيء جراء الدخان الكثيف. لكن صرخة استغاثة من طفلها جعلتها تدرك أنه أصيب لتهرع به إلى المستشفى، كما أضافت. وقالت الأم إن "الشارع كان خاليا إلا من أصوات الرصاص الذي كان يصيب جدران المنازل، وأصوات الانفجارات". وأوضحت أن "جزءا من دماغ توفيق كان خارج رأسه بسبب الإصابة، ومشيت طويلا حتى وجدت أحد الأقارب وقدم لي المساعدة". الأم تنقلت بين مستشفيي العودة وشهداء الأقصى لإنقاذ طفلها، وبينما تولى والده مهمة متابعته داخل المستشفى، عادت هي إلى المنزل. وهناك أُبلغ الأب من المستشفى بـ"استشهاد توفيق" جراء خطورة إصابته، حسب الأم. وتابعت "في مكالمة هاتفية، أبلغوني باستشهاد توفيق، وهذه كانت من أصعب اللحظات التي تمر عليّ، ولم أشعر بنفسي إلا داخل مستشفى العودة (بسبب الإغماء من صدمة الخبر)". وأضافت "حينما استعدتُ وعيي أبلغوني أن توفيق عاد للحياة مجددا". الأم لم تستوعب الصدمة، فحملت نفسها وهرعت نحو مستشفى شهداء الأقصى لتجد طفلها داخل غرفة العمليات. حرمان من الحياة واستكملت "بقي في غرفة العمليات لثلاث ساعات ونصف الساعة، وبعد خروجه أبلغنا الطبيب أنه أخرج شظيتين وحجرين من الدماغ، وأنه تم تحويله للعناية المركزة". وختمت قائلة "هذه أهداف إسرائيل.. كان المطلوب إخراجه للعلاج كي يأخذ حقه في الحياة". ومنذ 7 مايو/أيار الماضي، استولت إسرائيل على الجانب الفلسطيني من معبر رفح البري مع مصر (جنوب) بعد يوم من إعلان تل أبيب بدء عملية عسكرية في المدينة المكتظة بالنازحين، مما تسبب في إغلاق المعبر أمام خروج الجرحى للعلاج. وإجمالا، خلفت الحرب الإسرائيلية على قطاع غزة أكثر من 122 ألف فلسطيني بين شهيد وجريح، معظمهم أطفال ونساء، وما يزيد عن 10 آلاف مفقود، وسط دمار هائل ومجاعة أودت بحياة العشرات معظمهم أطفال. وللعام الـ18، تحاصر إسرائيل قطاع غزة، وأجبرت حربها نحو مليونين من سكانه، البالغ عددهم نحو 2.3 مليون فلسطيني، على النزوح في أوضاع كارثية، مع شح شديد في الغذاء والماء والدواء.

And when a calamity befalls us, we say, "Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we will return." The martyrdom of my childhood friend, Raed Fakhri Ahmed Issa Raed Joudeh, and his beloved aunt, Rasmiya Issa Rasmiya Joudeh, just moments ago. وإذا أصابتنا مصيبة قلنا إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون أستشهاد رفيق طفوله رائد فخري أحمد عيسى رائد جودة وعمته الحبيبة رسمية عيسى رسمية جودة منذ لحظات قليلة اللهم أجرني في مصيبتي وأخلفني خيرا منها دعواتكم ل رفيقي وعمته بالرحمه والمغفره فهم والله شهداء شهداء شهداء في غزه ارض الرجال

I extend my deepest condolences to the Abu Maktouma family in general, and especially to my nephew, Khaled Atiyan Abu Maktouma (Abu Mu'min), and his brothers Sami, Ramadan, Hussam, Mustafa, and Hatem, on the martyrdom of his son, Mu'min, yesterday in Nuseirat. We ask God to grant him and all the martyrs forgiveness and mercy, and to grant his family patience and solace. To God we belong, and to Him we shall return.

اتقدم بأحر التعازي والمواساه من آل ابو مكتومة عامة ومن ابن اختي//خالد عطيان ابو مكتومة.(ابو مؤمن) واخوته سامي ورمضان وحسام ومصطفى وحاتم خاصة.... بأستشهاد نجله (مؤمن) امس بالنصيرات ... نسال الله له ولجميع الشهداء المغفرة والرحمة وان يلهم اهله الصبر والسلوان... انا لله وانا اليه راجعون

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. (And give good tidings to those who patiently persevere, those who, when afflicted with calamity, say, "Indeed, we belong to God, and indeed, to Him we will return." Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided.) God Almighty has spoken the truth. With hearts believing in God's decree and destiny, we received today the news of the martyrdom of our dear cousin, Muhammad Hussein Abu Ataywi. May God have mercy on you, dear one. To God belongs what He takes and to God belongs what He gives, and everything with Him is by measure. O God, bestow patience and solace upon his family, and we ask God to grant him spacious gardens in Paradise. Indeed, we belong to God, and indeed, to Him we will return. Pray for him with mercy and forgiveness.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم (وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُمْ مُصِيبَةٌ قَالُوا إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ أُولَئِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَلَوَاتٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ وَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُهْتَدُونَ) صدق الله العظيم بقلوب مؤمنة بقضاء الله وقدره تلقينا اليوم خبر استشهاد الغالي : ابن عمي ...محمد حسين ابو عطيوي الله يرحمك يا غالي لله ما أخذ ولله ما أعطى وكل شئ عنده بمقدار اللهم انزل الصبر والسلوان على قلب اهله ونسأل الله ان يسكنه فسيح جناته وانا لله وانا اليه راجعون. ادعو له بالرحمة والمغفرة.
