We knew you as nothing but a man of religion, morals, and ambition, a man of goodness and reconciliation among people, and a lover of all, and all the people of Gaza bear witness to that. “The eyes shed tears and the heart is saddened, and we are truly saddened by your departure, Abu Anan, and we say only what pleases our Lord. To God we belong and to Him we shall return.” May God accept you in the highest ranks and gather us with you in the highest gardens of Paradise with the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous. وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتًا ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ "
نعزي أنفسنا وأعزي أخي وصديقي الحبيب الغالي يوسف البرش بإستشهاد والده وإخوانه خاصة الأخ الحبيب الغالي الشهيد موسى البرش-أبوعنان رحمه الله ما عرفناك إلا رجل صاحب دين وخلق وطموح ورجل خير وإصلاح بين الناس ومحب لجميع ويشهد على ذلك كل أهل غزة '' إن العين لتدمع وإن القلب ليحزن وإنا على فراقك يا أبوعنان لمحزونون ولا نقول إلا مايرضي ربنا ، إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون ..
