This area sustained damage from an Iranian drone—one of eight drones that targeted Bahrain. As is evident, the intended target struck the roof of this building; additionally, surrounding areas suffered shrapnel damage, and numerous cars and homes were damaged as a result of this blatant Iranian act of aggression against Bahrain. The Sitra district has now been targeted for the second time by such projectiles. The injuries sustained were caused by shrapnel resulting from the interception of these drones, which fly at low altitudes. On the previous occasion, approximately 30 people sustained injuries of varying severity; this time, however, only four people sustained minor injuries. Nevertheless, there is significant destruction in this area resulting from the interception of the Iranian drone. Such targeting causes damage to homes and infrastructure within Bahrain; furthermore, there is absolutely no justification or pretext for these attacks, which target civilians and disrupt their lives and stability—particularly given that these are civilian areas situated far removed from any military zones.
