Father: Mohammad had prepared himself for martyrdom. There had already been two incidents in Minab, and another one in Bandar Lengeh.
That day, around ten o'clock, I called him and asked, "Where are you?" He said, "Bring our daughter, and bring my sister too, along with some clothes and food." He wanted food because he was on duty.
Sister: About twenty minutes before the attack, Mohammad called me and said, "I'm leaving the company now. Bring our daughter so I can see her on my way."
Then we heard the sound of the bombing.
After that, Mohammad's phone was unreachable. They were in the mountains. I kept calling, but his phone was switched off.
The bridge had been hit. I cleared a path by hand and we drove further. No matter how many times we called, his phone remained off.
When we got there, we saw a vehicle on fire. I kept saying, "The licence plate doesn't match. This can't be your car. The plate number is different."
Everyone there kept saying, "It's not his. It's not his."
Only the following morning did we realise that it was his vehicle after all.
That night, he was facing a six- or seven-hour journey. He said, "Bring my daughter so I can regain my strength before I set off."
Whenever there was a war or a crisis, Mohammad would always volunteer to go. He used to say, "If we don't go, then who will?"
He was killed while serving the people of Iran.
