But the road became their final destination, and their car fell from the bridge. Tayyeb Darsar, the village head of Krouiyeh, recounts a night that has still not ended for the village’s residents. According to him, Abdulrahim Jafari-Fard, around 24, his approximately 16-year-old wife Sogand Dardmand, and two relatives, 55-year-old Maryam Parakandehdel and her 14-year-old daughter Fatemeh-Zahra Akbari, travelled to Bandar Abbas on Thursday afternoon to attend to some business. After completing their work, they set off back towards Krouiyeh in a dolphin-grey Peugeot 405. Their journey ended only a few kilometres from home. According to the village head, the vehicle was struck at the unfinished bridge on the Bandar Khamir–Keshar road. The force of the explosion threw it from the bridge below, and moments later it was engulfed in flames. When news of the incident reached the village, residents rushed to the scene. What they found was a burning vehicle in the riverbed. Darsar, one of the first people at the scene, said: “We had no crane. With the help of a lorry, we pulled the vehicle out of the river. The operation took hours, and the fire was so intense that identifying the bodies was difficult.” He said that night, everyone hoped that someone might have survived. But once the operation ended, hope gave way to a heavy silence: all the vehicle’s occupants had been killed. **The brothers’ final journey** In the same area where the Krouiyeh family’s vehicle fell, three other young people from the village of Nimeh-kar also lost their lives: two brothers and another person, for whom crossing the same unfinished bridge became the final moment of their lives. 45 کیلومتر تمام نشدنی تنها ۴۵ کیلومتر تا رسیدن به منزل مانده بود، دقایقی تا آغوش خانواده و روشن شدن چراغ خانه‌ای که چشم‌انتظار‌مسافرانش بود. اما جاده، آخرین مقصد آن‌ها شد و خودرو از پل سقوط کرد ... «طیب درسار»، دهیار روستای کروئیه، از شبی می‌گوید که هنوز برای اهالی روستا تمام نشده است. به گفته وی، «عبدالرحیم جعفری‌فرد» حدودا ۲۴ ساله، همراه همسر حدودا ۱۶ ساله‌اش «سوگند دردمند»، و دو نفر از بستگانشان «مریم پراکنده‌دل»، ۵۵ ساله، و دختر نوجوانش به نام «فاطمه‌زهرا اکبری» ۱۴ ساله، عصر پنج‌شنبه برای انجام کاری راهی بندرعباس شدند. آن‌ها پس از پایان کار، با یک دستگاه پژو ۴۰۵ دلفینی رنگ، کروئیه را در پیش گرفتند، مسیری که تنها چند کیلومتر مانده به خانه، پایان یافت. به گفته دهیار، خودرو در پل نیمه‌کار (بندر خمیر ـ کشار) مورد حمله دشمن قرار گرفت. شدت انفجار، خودرو را از روی پل به پایین پرتاب کرد و لحظاتی بعد، شعله‌های آتش آن را دربر گرفت.خبر حادثه که به روستا رسید، اهالی خود را به محل رساندند، اما آنچه مقابل چشمانشان بود، خودرویی سوخته و شعله‌ور در بستر رودخانه بود. «درسار» که از نخستین افراد حاضر در محل بود، می‌گوید: «جرثقیل نداشتیم، با کمک یک دستگاه تریلی، خودرو را از داخل رودخانه بیرون کشیدیم. عملیات ساعت‌ها طول کشید و شدت آتش‌سوزی به‌اندازه‌ای بود که شناسایی پیکرها به‌ سختی انجام شد».وی می‌گوید که آن شب، همه امیدوار بودند شاید کسی زنده مانده باشد، اما با پایان عملیات، امیدها جای خود را به سکوتی سنگین داد و سرنشینان خودرو به شهادت رسیدند. آخرین مسیر دو برادر در همان محدوده‌ای که خودروی خانواده کروئیه سقوط کرد، 3جوان دیگری اهل روستای نیمه‌کار نیز جان خود را از دست دادند، دو برادر و یک نفر دیگر که مسیر عبورشان از همین پل نیمه‌کار، آخرین لحظه زندگی‌شان شد. «همایون چترزرین» ۳۲ ساله، «مازیار چتر زرین» ۱۱ ساله و «محمد مویدی» به گفته «مصطفی انجوج»، عضو شورای ‌روستای نیمه‌کار، هنگام وقوع حادثه در محدوده پل ارتباطی نیمه‌کار شهرستان خمیر حضور داشتند و براثر شدت انفجار جان باختند. وی درباره لحظات وقوع حادثه می‌گوید: «حدود ساعت ۱۰ و نیم شب ۲۵ تیرماه در خانه بودم که صدای جنگنده شنیدیم، مسیر بازگشت به روستا ناگهان صدای انفجار مهیبی آمد. بیرون رفتیم و دود زیادی را دیدیم. وقتی نزدیک‌تر شدیم، متوجه شدیم پل کنار روستا بر اثر موشک دشمن آمریکایی تخریب شده است». به گفته انجوج، هم‌زمان با وقوع حادثه، چند خودرو در این مسیر در حال تردد بودند و شدت انفجار باعث شد این مسیر به صحنه‌ای تلخ برای چندین خانواده تبدیل شود.
