"It was a full moon, even more beautiful. Praise be to God for this great tragedy."

With these words, the young woman, Ola Abd Rabbo, bid farewell to her fiancé, Naseem Abu Subha, who was killed in the massacre at the Al-Baqa Rest House on the Gaza beach yesterday, Monday.

Ola says, "He was sitting next to me, happy like a child celebrating Eid. He held up his phone and took many pictures of us, his heart fluttering with joy as he told me how beautiful I was."

She adds, "Suddenly, without warning, the sound of an explosion interrupted our conversation. The place was filled with dust, and all I heard was Naseem's voice in pain, and then we fell to the ground."

She explains, "After I fell, Ola began checking on her and her fiancé's condition: 'I realized my foot was bleeding, so I tied it with a tablecloth. I moved my hand to check on Naseem's body, and I said to him, 'What's wrong? Is your head okay?'" But he was bleeding profusely from his back. It seemed like he had left from the first moment, and I thought he had just lost consciousness.

At the hospital, during the treatment procedures, Ola says, "My father was beside me, shedding tears. I asked him several times, 'Dad, is Naseem okay? Is Naseem okay? Please tell me.' But he kept telling me that he was in intensive care now and we couldn't see him. Everyone around me was whispering."

"After several hours of partial treatment, they carried me onto a chair and I left. I saw my cousin, patted my shoulder and asked her, 'He was martyred, right?' She replied, 'Yes, we brought him to you so you could see him.'"

Ola concluded, "Oh God, reward me for my affliction and replace it with someone better. I bear witness, my Lord, that he deserves to be a martyr. I have never seen anyone more compassionate than him. He was extremely kind and merciful. I entrust him to you, my Lord, until I meet him."

"كان بدرًا، بل أجمل، الحمد لله على هذا المصاب الجلل"

بهذه الكلمات ودّعت الشابة "علا عبدربه"، خطيبها "نسيم أبوصبحة" الذي ارتقى في مجــــ...ــزرo "استراحة الباقة" على بحر #غزة ، يوم أمس الإثنين .

تقول عُلا: "كان يجلس بجواري فَرِحًا كطفلٍ التقى العيد. رفع هاتفه والتقط لنا العديد من الصور، وقلبه يرفرف من الفرح وهو يخبرني عن جمالي".

وتضيف: "فجأة ودون أي إنذار، قاطع حديثنا صوت انفجار. امتلأ المكان بالغبار، ولم أسمع سوى صوت نسيم يتألم ثم سقطنا أرضًا.

وتوضح: "بعد أن سقطت، بدأت علا بتفقد حالتها وحالة خطيبها: "أدركت أن قدمي تنزف، فربطتها بشرشف الطاولة. تحركت بيدي لأتفقد جسد نسيم، وقلت له: 'أمانة مالك؟ رأسك بخير؟' لكنه كان ينزف بشدة من ظهره، بدا أنه غادر منذ اللحظة الأولى، وأنا كنت أعتقد أنه فقد وعيه فقط."

في المستشفى، وأثناء إجراءات العلاج، تقول عُلا: كان أبي إلى جانبي يذرف الدموع. سألته مرات عدة: 'يابا، نسيم كويس؟ نسيم بخير؟ أمانة احكي لي.' لكنه كان يجيبني بأنه في العناية الآن ولا يمكننا رؤيته، وكان الجميع يهمس حولي".

"بعد عدة ساعات من العلاج الجزئي، حملوني على الكرسي وخرجت.. رأيت ابنة خالي، وطبطبت على كتفي وسألتها: 'استشهد، صح؟' أجابتني: 'نعم، لقد جئناك به لتشوفيه.'

وختمت علا حديثها: "اللهم أجرني في مصيبتي واخلف لي خيرًا منها. أشهدك ربي أنه يستحق أن يكون شهيدًا، فلم أر أحن منه على قلبي، كان شديد الود والرحمة.. أستودعك إياه يا ربي حتى ألقاه".
