کیس سٹڈی

Mautullah Jan had been in a wheelchair for about 10 years.

He was the uncle of Sadaullah Wazir, a 15-year-old student who later lodged a legal complaint over the strike. Mataullah, Sadaullah and other male relatives had gathered at the house of Sadaullah’s grandfather to celebrate Iftar, the breaking of Ramadan fast. The hujra (men’s social room) was crowded with family members.

After eating evening snacks they moved into the courtyard for evening prayers. They were returning to the main room of the house to continue their meal when a drone attacked.

ذرائع

Sadaullah Wazir’s witness testimony presented by Shahzad Akhbar to the Human Rights Council as part of a complaint about US killing of civilians (Reprieve).
