On September 29th, 2024, two civilians were reportedly killed in an alleged Israeli airstrike targeting the town of Marouhin (Marwahin) in southern Lebanon.

According to the Lebanese Civil Defense, two bodies were recovered from the site of the strike and transferred to hospitals by other parties. The post noted: “The bodies of two martyrs were recovered from the site of the Israeli raid that targeted the town of Marwahin (other parties transported them to hospitals).”

Echo of Dahieh Telegram channel similarly reported that “martyrs were killed in an enemy raid on Marouhin.”

Additional sources on social media, including @saloom_official, @NabilaFadel6060, and @Ahmadhamieh313, all reported a raid hitting the southern town of Marouhin, but did not provide further details on casualties.

No names or further demographic information about the victims have been publicly shared at this time. The civilian status of the deceased was presumed by all local sources, who referred to them as “martyrs” without any indication of militant affiliation.
