According to a Coalition report issued in December 2016, on “(11.) Oct. 5, 2016, near Aleppo, Syria: No Coalition strikes were conducted on that day in the geographical area.”
Airwars researchers have so far identified no known public allegations of civilians killed or injured in Aleppo governorate on this date.
The local time of the incident is unknown.

Attached to this civilian harm incident is a provisional reconciliation of the Pentagon's declassified assessment of this civilian harm allegation, based on matching date and locational information.
The declassified documents were obtained by Azmat Khan and the New York Times through Freedom of Information requests and lawsuits filed since March 2017, and are included alongside the corresponding press release published by the Pentagon. Airwars is currently analysing the contents of each file, and will update our own assessments accordingly.

Original strike reports
For October 4th-5th 2016 the Coalition had noted at the time that “Near Mar’a, five strikes engaged three ISIL tactical units; destroyed three fighting positions and a mortar system; and suppressed a heavy machine gun firing position.”
For October 5th-6th it reported: “Near Manbij, two strikes engaged two ISIL tactical units, destroyed three fighting positions and two heavy machine guns, and suppressed a mortar position. Near Mar’a, one strike engaged an ISIL tactical unit.”
