Hashim Abdul Fattah Al-Ali, eight or 12-years-old, died of a heart attack after he was said to have heard a nearby Coalition airstrike in Abu Kamal, Deir Ezzor, local sources reported.
Aletihadpress put Hashim’s age at 12 years, reporting that “according to local sources, 12-year-old Hashim Abd al-Fattah al-Ali was sitting with his family in their home in the town of Abu Kamal, when a coalition plane carried out an air strike near them, resulting in a large explosion. He had a heart attack brought on by intense fear.”
@mohamadd_ali and Micro Syria also said that the victim’s death was brought on by the sound of Coalition jets.
The local time of the incident is unknown.

Attached to this civilian harm incident is a provisional reconciliation of the Pentagon's declassified assessment of this civilian harm allegation, based on matching date and locational information.
The declassified documents were obtained by Azmat Khan and the New York Times through Freedom of Information requests and lawsuits filed since March 2017, and are included alongside the corresponding press release published by the Pentagon. After a review of available information it was assessed that no Coalition strikes were conducted that caused a civilian casualty.
Original strike reports
For June 10th-11th, the Coalition reported: “Near Dayr Az Zawr, eight strikes destroyed 23 ISIS oil tanks, three ISIS separation tanks, two ISIS well heads, an ISIS-held building and an ISIS refinery.“
It also reported for the same period: "Near Dayr Az Zawr, six strikes destroyed four ISIS tanks, six ISIS oil tanks, two ISIS well heads, an ISIS oil separation tank, an ISIS oil refinery, an ISIS oil truck and an ISIS oil still."
