One civilian male was initially reported as killed in alleged Coalition airstrikes Shubat 23 Street in Raqqa by Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently (RBSS). However later reports confirmed that he was still alive.

RBSS was the only source to report the death but subsequently deleted its Facebook post – an unusual move for the monitor – indicating to Airwars it was likely mistaken in its reporting.

Three other sources confirmed that the male was still alive.

U.S.-led Coalition Strike Report
For July 8th-9th: “Near Raqqah, 12 strikes engaged 10 ISIS tactical units and destroyed seven fighting positions, two vehicles, a front-end loader, an ISIS communications tower and communications equipment.” It was additionally reported that “On July 8, near Raqqah, Syria, eight strikes engaged five ISIS tactical units; destroyed four fighting positions, an anti-air artillery system, an ISIS radio tower, and communication equipment; and damaged a UAS facility.”
