Airwars assessment
Up to six civilians died in an airstrike on Al Sabha, according to local media, though it was unclear who was to blame.
Most sources did not identify the warplanes responsible for the attack, thoiugh Qasioun pointed towards the regime. The Syrian Network for Human Rights also blamed the regime, and put the death toll at five including two girls and two women. Two of Maryam Hussain Al-Sha’lan’s daughters and Ahmad Al Tarad Al Tama’s wife were listed in addition those named below.

After a review of available information it was assessed that no Coalition strikes were conducted in the geographical area that correspond to the report of civilian casualties.

For September 28th-29th: “Near Dayr Az Zawr, five strikes engaged three ISIS tactical units, destroyed two fighting positions and a supply route; and damaged a fighting position.” And: “Near Abu Kamal, one strike destroyed an ISIS staging area.“
