Up to three civilians died at al Soussa, according to local media – though it was unclear who was to blame for the deaths.

According to Syrian Press Center, the regime used artillery shells and rocket launchers on the town. The official page for al Soussa area gave some more detail, reporting that many rockets fell on several areas on al Soussa. More than one house was hit, and an Iraqi woman was killed and two others whose identity we don’t know.

Al Jisr also reported the death of a displaced woman.

Step News Agency reported that warplanes carried out strikes on al Soussa, but didn’t identify them.

The coalition report stated: November 22, 2017, near al-Soussa village, Syria, via Airwars. After a review of available information, it was assessed that no Coalition strikes were conducted in the geographical area that corresponds to the report of civilian casualties.
