During initial interrogations, he confessed to receiving instructions from ISIS leaders to carry out terrorist attacks during this year's Nowruz celebrations in northeastern Syria. He also revealed the existence of cells linked to him operating in the Syrian Jazeera region and Damascus. The SDF affirmed that its forces will pursue the remnants of the ISIS cells and will strike forcefully against anyone who dares to spread chaos and destabilize the security and stability of northern and eastern Syria.
