A Facebook post from Ansariyah website reported that a woman named Batoul Ramez Fawaz who was from the town of Kafr Rumen was killed in an airstrike that hit the home opposite hers in Mayfadoun. The source mentioned that her children were also injured. The post included an image of a woman in a patterned headscarf and navy blue dress smiling next to a floral display, with the caption “Congratulations on your martyrdom….Batoul Ramez Fawaz is in God’s care.” The post also included an image of a young man without information as to who he is or was.

The Mayfadoun Official Intermediate School also mourned “Nargis, our schoolgirl. The tragedy is painful, and your loss is irreplaceable. We will miss you and remember you every day, our pure angel and our messenger to the children of Paradise.”
Footage posted by @AJArabic reportedly shows the moment of the bombing – large smoke clouds can be seen rising above buildings while flames engulf their roofs.
A video published by @almodononline shows an ambulance arriving at a location covered in debris where a fire is active in the street. Another video from @almodononline pans around to show a building on fire with the roof beginning to collapse, and another building next door appeared to suffer damage, in addition to a work van and car which appear destroyed.
