Volunteer with us
Airwars began as an all-volunteer organisation in 2014 – and volunteers continue to play a vital role in our work. Our Board and Advisory Board give generously of their time and knowledge and volunteers play a crucial part in our documentation teams.
All volunteers are given access to Airwars’ third party 24/7 counselling hotline and are trained in best practices around digital hygiene and trauma mitigation. While we do our best to protect all team members from the risks of secondary trauma, all those working for Airwars should understand that there is a high likelihood of exposure to highly graphic material in the course of their work.
Please note we require all volunteers to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week.
