Five civilians were killed and 14 more were injured, including women and children, in alleged Coalition air and/or artillery strikes on the Old Raqqa, Al Nahda and al Yarmouk neighbourhoods of Raqqa, local sources reported.

According to Smart News, “One of the sources said that warplanes likely to be the coalition, bombed neighborhoods of the old city of Raqqa, and the neighborhoods of Al-Nahda and Yarmouk west of the city, in parallel to the artillery shelling of “SDF” on the streets of Mansour and Saif Al Dawla, al Hayesh and al Bustan Garden in the city center, killing six civilians and wounding ten Including women and children.”

For July 5th-6th: “Near Raqqah, 21 strikes engaged 15 ISIS tactical units and destroyed 13 fighting positons, two vehicles, two heavy machine guns, a front-end loader, a UAV site and a sniper position.” It additionally reported that “On July 5, near Raqqah, Syria, five strikes engaged four ISIS tactical units and destroyed six fighting positions, a sniper position, and a heavy machine gun,” And also that “On July 5, near Raqqah, Syria, two strikes engaged two ISIS tactical units; destroyed a fighting position, a front-end loader, and an UAS launch site; and suppressed 17 fighting positions and a sniper team.”

‘Wednesday 5 July – Typhoons hit seven Daesh strongpoints in Mosul, Tornados eliminated a sniper team in Raqqa…Typhoons continued to support the Iraqi troops in west Mosul on Wednesday 5 July.
