In the Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR) Civilian Harm and Mitigation Response Report released on May 31, 2024, the US military stated that “Regrettably, based on a thorough review of all available information, one civilian was unintentionally harmed following a live fire exercise.”
