Facebook account Adi al-Ajouri posted a video showing severe damage to the interior of a building, including a hole in the ceiling, and reported that this was “the aftermath of rocket fragments falling on a house.” Photographs matching this, and showing the exterior of a house with emergency vehicles outside, were posted by the Facebook account @Mohammad Al Wakeel. News website Factjo.com and Facebook account @Jordan News 24 Hours reported the same, and added that “Royal Engineering Corps and Public Security personnel responded to the incident.”

Facebook user Omar Shahin posted: “This morning, shrapnel from a missile fell very close to my residence in the Al-Hashimiyah district of the governorate. Thank God, there were no casualties, but the house where the shrapnel landed sustained damage.” It is unclear if he means that no casualties were suffered in his residence or in total.

Multiple Facebook users, Abdul Salam al-Zawahra, Alaa al-Dheeb, and Ahmad al-Tamimi Abu Muhammed, and Ahed al-Khaza’leh wrote that “a citizen was injured” in the strike. Another Facebook account titled ‘The brave men and women of the noble governorates of Jordan (Voice of the People),’ also reported an injury, specifying that the person injured was the owner of the home, and added that the Royal Engineering Corps was on site.

Sources varied in how they referred to the nature of the incident. Several sources, including the Facebook account ‘The people of Zarqa Governorate, Al-Hashimiyah Brigade, gathered’ used wording indicating that a missile struck the building directly, while others mentioned fragments or shrapnel.
