Airwars assessment
Four people were reported injured after an alleged Israeli airstrike on 29 September, 2024 in Kafra, Lebanon. The strike was reported to have hit the home of the late Mahmoud Sabiti Abu Mustafa, and “surrounding homes and shops”.
Those injured were transported to the Tebnine Governmental Hospital; their identities remain unknown.
Photographs shared by Civil Defense Kafra showed workers examining the targeted area, presumably searching for potential victims. The units responsible were the “Kafra Martyrs Emergency Brigade 540 and 572”. The source decried the strike on their “beloved town” and asked that God “protect our village and bless it”.
A video shared by Akhbar Kafra shows a partially burning bus, as well as significant damage to the surrounding area.
The local time of the incident is unknown.
