Airwars Assessment
During the evening of Monday, 13 October 2025, Khaled Rabah Barabakh (Abu Uday) was reportedly killed as a result of an alleged Israeli military attack while inspecting his home in Al-Sikka, central Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip.
According to the Genocide in Gaza website, Khaled was 44 years old at the time of his death and was married, writing that he was killed by an Israeli airstrike along with “a number of other martyrs” although other sources did not mention additional deaths. Wafa News, along with other news outlets, reported his cause of death as Israeli military fire.
Multiple posts from Khaled’s relatives mourned his passing, including nieces and nephews like Mohammed Abusslman, who, via Facebook, thanked those who had offered their condolences to his family. The sources shared multiple images of Khaled, including the one where he was walking at the seaside, wearing jeans, a yellow-black pullover, and a vest in the same colours.
Where sources identified a belligerent, all sources attributed the attack to the Israeli military.
