Five civilians were injured by rockets allegedly launched by Palestinian militants against Sderot on May 11, 2023.

According to Jewish Press, in the southern Israeli border town of Sderot, four alleged Palestinian strikes targeted the city within one hour. One individual was reported as suffering critical injuries, with another four enduring non-life threatening injuries. Two of the wounded are an elderly couple who were injured as they fled towards an external bombshelter just before their home was struck. Two homes were also destroyed, but the owners had evacuated earlier in the week, leaving the residences abandoned. A collection of individuals were treated for shock, but neither exact numbers nor the identities of those treated for injuries were reported.

A tweet from @1717Bazz and Jewish Press reported that shrapnel from a strike damaged the car of National Mission Minister Orit Struk. Struk was not in the car at the time; however, her driver was and avoided injury.
