Shaam News Network reported that “Russian warplanes and helicopters launched dozens of airstrikes accompanied by fierce rocket and artillery shelling that targeted the cities and towns of Kafar Zeita, Morek, Latamnina, Zakat, Hawija, Hawash, Sarmaniya, Latmin, Daqmaq, Hamidiya and Khirbet Al Naqous, causing many civilian casualties.”
