Four civilians including two children were reported killed and 20 others injured in alleged Russian or Syrian regime airstrikes on Ariha in Idlib on August 16th, 2019.
Dala’a Mutee’ Bakir or Dala’a Khaldoun Bakir was reported killed first, and then three other wounded civilians died after few days due to their wounds sustained on August 16th. The other three victims are Anas Rustom (a child), Islam Bakir (a woman) and Omar Haj Darwish ( a man). Some sources said that Ismal is the mother of Dala’a.
Both Shaam News and Step Agency reported that “Russian and Syrian warplanes launched several airstrikes” on a number of cities and towns, causing a number of casualties, including “the fall of a child martyr in Ariha.”
Syrian Network for Human Rights named the child killed as Dalaa Khaldoun Bakir.
Meanwhile, Smart News cited “one killed and 20 wounded in shelling by regime warplanes in the city of Ariha south of Idlib.”
Justice Organization named the 20 civilians that had been injured in the attack.
Sources variously attributed the attack to both Russian forces and the Syrian regime.
The local time of the incident is unknown.
