Airwars assessment
One civilian was reported killed and others wounded in alleged Russian airstrikes on Al Tah Town, Idlib, on August 20th, 2019.
Edlib Media Center documented “a martyr and several wounded after the Russian occupation forces targeted the town of Al Tah, south of Idlib, with vacuum missiles.”
Macro Media Center and Syrian Network for Human Rights named the civilian killed as Abdul Hadi Qteish.
Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also “documented the death of a citizen and the injury of five others”, while other sources cited “several wounded.”
According to a tweet by @baladinetwork, barrel bombs were used in the airstrikes while @jisrtv reported that the town was bombed with missiles.
All sources attributed the airstrike to Russian forces or did not identify the culprit.
The local time of the incident is unknown.

Reports of the incident mention the village of Al Tah Town (بلدة التح), for which the generic coordinates are: 35.539525, 36.725383. Due to limited satellite imagery and information available to Airwars, we were unable to verify the location further.
