Afrin Now in Syria reported that “4-year-old Hamid Rashid was wounded by shrapnel from the bombing of the Turkish airliner in the village of Kafr Safra in the Jandrissah district of Afrin province.”

Nuce24 also named the victim and blamed Turkey.

According to the Kurdish Red Crescent, “Hameed Rashid Mehmoud 4 years old got shot in his forehead”, though it didn’t say if he had lived or died.

According to sources he was taken to hospital, with medical staff reporting his condition was stable.

The local time of the incident is unknown.
