On 30 November 2024, a twenty six-year-old man named Joan Muhammad Ali and a child named Shilan Masoud Khalil were injured by an airstrike allegedly by the Turkish military in the villages of Bina and Harbal in the Afrin and al-Shahba cantons in Syria.

While initial reports by the local news source Hawarnews and ANF reported only one civilian injury – that of Joan Muhammad Ali – an update was given later by Ronahitv, adding the injury of the child, Shilan Masoud Khalil.

ANF news reported that Joan was taken to a hospital for treatment.

According to the sources, residential property suffered severe damage.

Where sources identified the belligerent, all sources attributed the strike to the Turkish military.
