One civilian male died in an artillery bombardment of Qasr al Banat, according to local media.

Sources said that he died after he sustained an injury in the shelling. According to Jorf News, he died from “internal bleeding”.

Airwars understands that only the Coalition has access to artillery in Raqqa.

U.S.-led Coalition Strike Report
For July 11th-12th: “Near Dayr Az Zawr, six strikes engaged an ISIS tactical unit and destroyed 25 ISIS oil refinement stills, five oil tanks, and 10 oil tankers.” It additionally reported that “On July 11, near Raqqah, Syria, 12 strikes engaged five ISIS tactical units and destroyed five IEDs, three fighting positions, two VBIEDs, three ISIS communications towers, two command and control nodes, an anti-air artillery system, and a communications repeater.” And that “On July 11, near Raqqah, Syria, one strike destroyed an ISIS VBIED and a command and control node and suppressed six fighting positions.”
