(Previous Incident Code: S1111)

Local sources reported the death of one male civilian.

Reports said he was killed by artillery shelling. It is Airwars understanding that only the Coalition is using artillery in Raqqa.

Other sources – all blaming artillery shelling for the man’s death – said that he had been captured by IS and detained for the past three years.

A source was picked up by our researchers at Airwars documenting general images of civilian casualties on the 25th of July 2017. They have been included in this incident, but Airwars understands these images are not specific to this event.
