According to multiple local sources, one adult male died in an alleged Coalition airstrike. A source quoted by the Palmyra Coordination Committee asserted strikes targeted “a civilian car he was travelling near the second station T2 near the Iraqi-Syrian border yesterday.”

The source added: “It is worth mentioning that the Coalition announced the targeting of a convoy of elements in the countryside of Deir Ezzor near the place mentioned at the same time.”

In a later update the source added that the strike “targeted civilian cargo vehicles belonging to people from Palmyra, near the second T2 station T2 at the Iraqi-Syrian border. One driver was killed and his car burned and others were slightly injured. The raid did not target any convoy or ISIS element.”

The local time of the incident is unknown.
