Two civilians – a woman and her male child – died in an alleged Coalition airstrike on Raqqa, according to local media.
Raqqa Sport reported: “In the name of the sports site of Raga and all the athletes of the province of Raqqa, we offer from Captain Osama Kaddour, handball player in the Youth Club and the Euphrates Captain Wafi and Hamada Bahar, condolences on the martyrdom of his son and wife as a result of barbaric shelling on the province of Raqqa.”

For September 21st-22nd the Coalition reported: “Near Raqqah, seven strikes engaged three ISIS tactical units and destroyed seven fighting positions, two vehicles, two logistics nodes, a VBIED and a VBIED factory.” It additionally added that “On Sept. 21, near Raqqah, Syria, 28 strikes engaged four ISIS tactical units and destroyed 18 fighting positions, eight vehicles, a tactical vehicle, two IEDs, two supply routes, a logistics node, damaged seven fighting positions and suppressed two fighting positions.”
For September 22nd - 23rd, the Coalition reported: "Near Raqqah, 39 strikes [1 British] engaged three ISIS tactical units and destroyed 41 fighting positions, a command and control node, a supply route and suppressed two fighting positions".
