Airwars assessment
Four civilians – two women and two girls – died in an airstrike on the residential neighbourhood of al Sukkariya, local media reported. It was unclear who was responsible, though one source attributed the event to Russia.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, “four citizen women including two girls were killed as a result of bombing by the warplanes on areas in Al-Sokkariyeh village in the countryside of Al-Bokamal city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor during the past 24 hours”.
However, according to Baladi, Russia was responsible. It put the death toll at “two women and two children”.
Jisir TV didn’t say who carried out the strikes.
The local time of the incident is unknown.
