A number of sources reported the deaths of three civilians in an alleged Coalition event, with two alleged victims named as Abu Shaman and his father. However a local Facebook site insisted the claims were “totally untrue… Everything is normal and nothing is happening.”

According to Shaam News, “In the eastern countryside, battles are at their firecest between IS and the democratic forces of Syria amidst raids by international Coalition aircraft over the city and positions in the southern countryside. These led to the martyrdom of three civilians in the eastern village of Hamar.” And the Free Syrian Channel reported that “dead and wounded in coalition raids on al Hamr al Sharqiya village in the Manbij, countryside. Al Ameen shops, destroying 4 shops and a pharmacy. 3 civilians killed and 3 others injured. ” One local media activist claimed that as many as 20 civilians died with up to 50 injured, though there appears no supportive evidence for this.
