Raqqa Governorate: International Coalition forces, supported by the Syrian Democratic Forces, carried out an airdrop operation in the middle of Thursday-Friday night, targeting a site suspected of containing ISIS elements in northern Raqqa. The operation resulted in the arrest of three ISIS members. The operation was carried out under heavy air cover, including a complete cordon off of the targeted area. This operation is part of a series of joint security operations aimed at pursuing ISIS cells by International Coalition forces, amid growing warnings of the group reactivating its activities in various areas of Syria.

Local sources reported that Kurdish forces (SDF), supported by elements of the international coalition, arrested two brothers, Muhammad Ali al-Hussein al-Ramadan and Khalid Ali al-Hussein al-Ramadan, two young men from the Yarmouk Farms area in western Raqqa countryside, two days ago. The sources added that the raid was carried out by approximately 40 SDF vehicles, amidst heavy aerial activity in the area. The two young men were arrested, and around fifty million Syrian pounds and an undisclosed amount of US dollars were seized from their home. The sources indicated that the detainees belong to the al-Busraya Arab tribe.

قالت مصادر محلية إن القوات الكردية (قسد) مدعومة بعناصر من التحالف الدولي اعتقلت قبل يومين الأخوين محمد علي الحسين الرمضان وخالد علي الحسين الرمضان، وهما يافعان من سكان مزرعة اليرموك بريف الرقة الغربي. وأضافت المصادر أن المداهمة نفذتها نحو 40 آلية لمسلحي (قسد)، وسط تحليق مكثف للطيران في أجواء المنطقة، اعتقلت الشابان و واستولت من منزلهما نحو خمسين مليون ليرة سورية ومبلغا بالدولار. وأشارت إلى انتماء المعتقلين لعشيرة البوسرايا العربية.
