#DeirEzzor We appeal to the International Coalition and human rights organizations to intervene immediately to reveal the fate of: Ibrahim al-Saleh, Ibrahim al-Abd, Osama Ahmed al-Abdullah, and Saher Ahmed al-Abdullah, all unarmed civilians arrested in the town of Hawaj al-Bumsa’a without any legal justification. Residents believe that the SDF is arresting civilians on terrorism charges, specifically the charge of belonging to ISIS, in an attempt – as residents describe it – to prolong the support provided to them by the International Coalition by portraying the arrests as “security achievements.” We call on international bodies to assume their humanitarian and legal responsibilities by: Exerting pressure to reveal their whereabouts Ensuring their safety Releasing them immediately if no charges are proven against them The families of the detainees affirm that they are entirely civilians and have no connection to any armed activity, and they present this appeal to the world in the hope of saving their sons.

Serious Confessions of a Daesh Leader in Our Forces' Custody On December 7, military operations teams conducted a precise operation that resulted in the arrest of the terrorist Saher Ahmed al-Khalaf al-Abdullah, the weapons and explosives officer for a Daesh cell in the Deir ez-Zor countryside, and the seizure of quantities of ammunition inside his home. The terrorist confessed to carrying out, and participating with his cell, approximately 20 terrorist operations, including bombings, targeting checkpoints, attacking military vehicles, and wounding our fighters, in addition to targeting civilian homes and fuel tankers. These confessions confirm that there is no escape for Daesh cells from pursuit and accountability… Our forces are continuing to dismantle terrorism and protect our people.
